Is no man's sky fun? Ive heard its not what they advertised initially but is it still enjoyable?

it depends on what you’re after I guess. I never actually paid much attention to what they were announcing. Looking at what was said it would have? It is extremely lacking, but at the same time, I’m still quite happy with what we got. Breaking it down, it’s a lot of inventory and system management. Both of which are extremely simplified and a lot of people would consider tedious. Gather specific materials to power suit and ship systems. Upgrade equipment. That’s the “gameplay” part of it. The rest is “I wanna fly in space, maybe fend off pirates, and land on that other planet” which is why I’m enjoying it. Be warned that variety dies off quick, but I still enjoy moments of seeing the sky and cool rock formations. It’s a game for meandering about
