Hello, I am a first timer here. I would like to humbly request something. Can I please request for a Platonic Nanami and adopted daughter reader. The reader is not used to a normal environment and they are used to fighting and surviving
Girl Dad Transformation
Iâve been stewing over this so hard bc itâs been giving me the cutest ideas!!!! And ofc Yuuji is so big brother coded here.
Notes: F!reader, brotherly!Yuuji, Nanami and his adopted daughter đ„ș. Thatâs it.
Nanami didnât think about the long term impact of adopting the orphaned sorcerer. Surely he wouldnât change that muchâŠ
All he knew was there was a 5 year old girl clutching her only toy- a stuffed bear, who could see âscary monstersâ and no longer had any family, thanks to the curse that was tormenting humans for fun; he was just a little too late.
The poor thing was terrified. In the blink of an eye his hand was seized by a freezing, much smaller one with a death grip.
Nanami got you looked at by Shoko and you refused to let go of him the entire time. By the looks of it, you were malnourished and you frequently got injured from curses. Your home life was fairly unstable too, financial issues and absent-detached parents. Shoko got a lot more information from you than he ever expected, piecing together some of your history from your seemingly unrelated answers, as children do.
âSheâs going to have to stay for observation, probably several weeks until we can get her healthy enough. Sheâs going to need a special diet too, I havenât seen a case this bad in a long time and sheâs too young for cursed energy.â
His heart was crushed for you, when was the last time you had somewhere stable? âWhy are you telling me?â
âYou found her, sheâs clearly attached to you and you know you canât turn away now. You look at her like sheâs Itadori. Itâs just until I can find a place for her at a home or foster.â Shoko never fails with her dead pan demeanor and sass.
She was also right.
He looked back at you, you were passed out in your hospital bed covered by several blankets and hugging your bear. Finally, you were warming up. Finding you a home could take months if you went to a foster or orphanage⊠âDonât bother,â he swallowed thickly, âI will adopt her.â
Shokoâs face softened further, âYou canât go back on it, you already earned her trust. If youâre really sure then I think this will be good for both of you.â
He did his best to be at your bedside when he could, and you were quiet but clearly in need of comfort. Your favorite thing to do was have him read to you with cartoons on a low volume in the background. âNami, book?â Nanami picked up a book off the stack Shoko brought and started reading. No complaints, and after the first few days he didnât bother hiding his smile anymore.
He spent a fortune on converting his spare bedroom into yours. He didnât even know what 5 year olds liked, but according to the first years and Shoko, he needed to make sure you had various toys (he bought everything Yuuji pointed out to him- Yuuji definitely went overboard but Nanami didnât stop him), clothes and of course youâd need signed up for school.
When the adoption was final and he brought you home for the first time, he was thoroughly instructed how to parent by then, he was ready.
You⊠werenât. Not yet. You didnât know that your room was yours. All the toys and clothes, everything was yours. âNamiâ kept the âscary monstersâ away tooâŠ
âHey itâs okay honey, I know itâs a big change.â He wiped the tears from your chubby cheeks and smiled softly. âYou belong here, youâre safe now.â
A grown up was taking care of you, for good this time.
It was a journey every day but worth it as you came out of your shell, and he encouraged you with a gentle hand. Of course there were setbacks too. He wasnât perfect, he definitely wasnât good at laundry at first.
He was new to parenting and it was exhaustingly difficult to navigate yet he was completely whipped for you, never turning down a tea party or invitation to watch cartoons together. He became a complete girl dad overnight.
All it took was, âNami! Play!â And heâd be on the floor in the living room playing with the doll you handed him.
You started eating more, even requesting different meals when he asked what you were in the mood to eat. âNami, can we have soba?â
Nanami couldnât say no to you. âSoba sounds great.â Heâd have the softest smile on his face too.
You played more often, and eventually made friends! Yuuji claimed the title as your first friend but you were encouraged to make more- he helped you practice asking your classmates about themselves and how to invite them to play with you.
And Nanami⊠he never forced you to call him dad. He loved you more than he ever thought possible. He was always proud to call you his daughter, bragging about your excellent kindergarten grades and your recent achievement of becoming the line leader at school for the week.
But the first time you did happened a month in, while doing your bedtime routine and picking out a night night story. Instead of âNamiâ he was gifted: âDaddy, can you read the star book?â He let out a tear and hugged you tight.
Nanami tucked you in, kissed your forehead and sat on the edge of your bed, âYeah honey, Iâll read you the star book.â

Summary: Yuji goes to Pre-K for the first time; Nanami worries he'll have trouble adjusting, but Yuji is a little ball of positive energy. Needless to say, he makes friends.
Chapter 2: All's Well That Friends Well
Yuji's first day of Pre-K arrives much the same as every other, with his energy overflowing and Nanami's patient voice reminding him to slow down and breathe. Despite his son's extroverted nature, Nanami can't stop the deep-seated parental concern about how well he'll adjust to the change in schedule.
So when Yuji pulls Nanami by the sweater in his eagerness to leave for Pre-K, he settles.
"Easy, Yuji-kun, we'll get there with plenty of time to spare." Nanami promises.
The drive is surprisingly quiet despite Yuji's excitement; he fidgets with his seatbelt and keeps his eyes glued to the window, only opening his mouth to ask if his dad can change the radio station. Whenever they reach the school building, Yuji stretches his arms up to Nanami, betraying his nerves.
"Otouchan, how long is school?" Yuji wraps his arm around his dad's neck and squeezes. "Is it very long?"
"It's only for a few hours, Yuji-kun." Nanami fixes and fusses with Yuji's shirt collar before kissing his forehead. "But I'll be back. You'll be having so much fun you won't even miss me." When he sets Yuji in front of the door, he bends to his height. "If you need anything, you just ask the teacher for help, okay? Remember how we practiced and"
"Raise my hand!" Yuji smiles, arm shooting up.
"That's my boy." Nanami ruffles his hair and stands. When the door opens and a green-haired woman greets him with a smile, he regains some of his energy and surges forward. Nanami calls at his back before he disappears, "Have a good day, Yuji, and have some fun!"
"Okay! I will!" Yuji lights up. "I love you, Otouchan!"
Nanami mouths the words â his chest blocks the sound, and he turns before his son can see the glassiness there.
Yuji Itadori makes having fun his mission. The moment he steps into the classroom, he trots around the space asking questionâŠafter questionâŠafter question. His teacher, Ms. Chotto, patiently answers all of them in turn for as long as she can.
"What about that? Why do you have that?" He points at the hundredth object his little eyes land on.
"Itadori, honey," Ms. Chotto laughs. "You're such a curious mind, aren't you? Those are my plants and I keep them on the top shelf so none of my students accidentally eat them. They can hurt your tummy."
"Like too much sweets? Otouchan says too many sweets can make you sick."
"Yes, like that."
"Then why do you have the plants if they hurt your tummy?" Yuji tilts his head.
"I'm keeping them here for a while until I can make space for them at my house." She explains, turning briefly to separate two girls fighting over a doll. "You should go find someone else to play with, okay? I have to help some of the others right now."
With a pout and a surveying glance around the room, Yuji marches around to every available child to ask for their name and whether or not they know the plants on the top shelves are bad for their tummies. A brown-haired girl named Ozawa giggles and asks him how he knows, while a boy with dark, gelled hair seems to think that's an invitation to try and climb the shelves.
Yuji distracts him with the coloring books.
He's seeking out a partner to play with the blocks on the rug, when the front door opens to reveal another little girl, swallowed in the arms of her father. Her eyes look teary and wet, but what stands out most isn't that she's crying.
No, what stands out most is her hair. Pink! Just like his! Bright and vibrant, and he bets it's just as soft, too!
His entire countenance lifts. He shuffles over to see her crying against her dad's chest, and Yuji is impressed with how Ms. Chotto coaxes her into loosening her grip; soon, she's calm enough to stand by herself in the classroom. Her dad bends low, says something that sounds like "I love you" and leaves the little girl to hide behind Ms. Chotto's legs.
"Do you want to go play?" Ms. Chotto asks.
Yuji seizes his chance and skips forward to the girl now peeking out at him. "Hi! I'm Yuji!"
Her wide brown eyes look up at Ms. Chotto and then back to him.
She doesn't say a word.
Yuji waits a minute or two and then glances at his teacher. When she doesn't say anything, Yuji huffs. He doesn't do quiet very well.
"Do you know your name?" He presses.
"I'm Besu." She finally whispers, barely audible. Her fingers dig into the fabric of Ms. Chotto's skirt as she clings to her just like she did her father.
"You sure are quiet." Yuji observes. When her cheeks turn pink and she looks down, Yuji pats her arm to get her attention and points to the plants on the top shelf. "Did you know those plants can really hurt your tummy if you eat them?"
Ms. Chotto chuckles at Yuji's comment and Besu surprises him with a nod.
"You do know?!" He gasps. "Have you eaten them before?"
Besu shakes her head and loosens her grip, moving closer to Yuji. "Father has those in the garden."
"That's so cool!" Yuji grins, taking her hand and turning to a set of blocks on the rug up front. "You wanna go play blocks with me?"
Ms. Chotto whispers, "Go ahead."
Besu pouts up at her but lets Yuji coax her away. She is quiet while he babbles about his favorite color: yellow.
"I like to build castles. Otouchan took me to the beach once and we made sandcastles! We tried to make it as tall as a house, but it kept falling. What do you wanna build?" Yuji stacks an orange triangle on top of his green rectangle.
Besu shrugs her shoulders while fitting a few multi-colored squares together. Yuji watches to see what she's building, trying to discern the shape it's taking. By the time Besu adds a third row and he's still none the wiser, Yuji speaks again.
"What is that?"
Once again, Besu shrugs. Yuji frowns and wonders why she won't talk to him. Even Fushiguro will speak up and tell him to stop talking! It's uncomfortable, but he keeps quiet while clicking block pieces together and waiting for an answer.
Finally, Besu clears her throat.
"I just like the click sound when they go together. But I think now I wanna make a warmelon." She explains, picking off a few blue pieces and replacing them with red and green.
Yuji ogles her creation and claps. "My otouchan put watermelon in my lunchbox! Wanna see?" He stands, but pauses whenever Besu grips his pant leg.
"I don't think we're sposed to do that." She glances at Ms. Chotto and then Yuji's lunchbox across the room. "You might get in trouble."
"Nuh-uh. It's my lunchbox!" Yuji crosses his arms. "Watch."
He strolls across the room over to his yellow lunchbox, but Ms. Chotto touches his shoulder when he starts pulling it from his cubby.
"Itadori, it's not time for lunch yet." She says.
"Can't I show Besu my lunch?" Yuji frowns. "She made a watermelon, and Otouchan packed watermelon for lunch!"
"I understand, but maybe you should show her at lunchtime instead. That way, she can show you what she packed for lunch, too."
"Oh. Okay!" Yuji agrees, trotting back over to Besu and flopping beside her again. "Let's wait until lunch. Then I can see what you have!"
Besu's shoulders slump a little and her lips relax into a smile. "Father made me stew."
"Oh, boy! Will you share some?"
"Is that allowed?" She frets.
"I think as long as you scoop some in my lunch I won't get no germs." Yuji assures her. "And then I'll give you some chocolates. Otouchan gave me two!"
Playtime moves into lunch moves into recess. Yuji shows Besu how fast he can run around the sandbox, and Besu shows him how she's learned to hang upside down on the monkey bars. When they both take a break to play in the sand, Yuji finds a bucket for sandcastles and Besu digs tunnels to supply him with the good sand for his project.
Across the playground and on the other side of the fence, parents begin showing up to collect their children. Nanami waits outside the fence to watch Yuji, a smile tugging at his lips.
"You waiting on your brat, too?" The man appearing beside Nanami quirks a brow, hands stuffed in his pockets.
He has a mop of wild, unruly pink hair, not unlike Yuji's. Nanami wonders if he's part of the Itadori clan somewhere down the line.
"Good afternoon, I'm Nanami." Nanami says politely, before answering his question. "And yes, I'm waiting for my son. It was his first day and he's an only child."
"Sukuna." The man gives a quick dip of his head in greeting. "Mine too. You have trouble dropping him off?"
"I was worried that I would. He's never been away from me for more than an hour or two. But he only seemed nervous when we parked. He went inside the classroom just fine."
"Lucky you." Sukuna scoffs, but shakes his head with a smile. "I had to pry my daughter off of me, thought I might have to borrow a crowbar to get her in the classroom."
"Ah, a daddy's girl, then." Nanami smiles. "Does she have you wrapped around her finger, yet?"
He's not normally one for small talk, but the longer it takes the clock to strike for dismissal time, the more antsy Nanami gets. He keeps an an Ms. Chotto, who is trying to wrangle the children into their book bags and line them up against the fence for their waiting guardians.
"Absolutely not!" Sukuna laughs, but he scratches the back of his neck and turns his head away while he clears his throat. "That isâŠI don't give her everything she wants."
That garners a chuckle from Nanami.
"I can be that way with my son. I guess it has something to do with them being the first and only."
"Yeah, something like that." Sukuna hums, red eyes picking out a little girl with his pink hair. "That's her over there talking to some little punk."
"That little punk would be my son." Nanami snorts.
And then the floodgates unleash. More parents file down the sidewalk towards the gate, receiving their children in turn before making way for the next in line. Yuji and Besu arrive together, both of them racing directly into their fathers' arms.
Nanami bends down to embrace his pink-haired ball of energy, who is rambling out a story about plants that hurt your tummy and letters and his new best friend.
"Otouchan, you won't believe it! That's Besu! She's my best friend and she has hair just like mine!" Yuji turns to Besu to see her the most animated she's been all day, jabbering to her father with bright brown eyes. "She's real quiet thoughâŠeven quieter than Fushiguro!"
"It sounds like you had fun, then." Nanami stands and walks back to Sukuna, who has his little girl hoisted in his arms. "Sukuna, this is my son, Yuji."
"Hi!" Yuji beams, and his eyes meet Besu's almost instantly. "Bechan, this is my otouchan!"
Besu shrinks instantly, tucking her face into Sukuna's chest and then turning to peek out with the smallest, "hello."
"Well? Go on and give him your name, little tiger."
"My name is Besu and this is my father." She squeaks out to the two of them, but then focuses soley on Nanami. "Yuji is my friend now. He helped me build a sandcastle."
"And I'm very glad to hear it. We were at the beach not too long ago to build some of our own." Nanami grins and then refocuses on Sukuna. "Perhaps we could arrange some play time outside of school hours for them in the future."
"Sounds good to me."
The two men exchange numbers and bid each other good day, and even as Yuji takes Nanami's hand to leave, he twists around once more to wave goodbye to Besu.

snippet: âWhy donât you just ask him out?â Gojo asked through a mouthful of cake, his voice muffled and not unlike when Yuji stuffs a whole mochi in his mouth. Nanami glared at the increasingly insufferable man but he answered non the less, since he had asked him to join him after school. âI canâtâ Itâs forbidden.â
Gojo laughed, spluttering whipped cream onto the table between them. ââForbidden?! What is this Romeo and Juliet?â
âI donât know these âRomeo and Julietâ and I canât imagine them having anything to do with my situation.â He wiped the whipped cream off his sleeve with disdain before continuing. âAnd yesâ it is forbidden. To request him to accompany me when he has not yet reciprocated my courtship, would be dishonorable of me to pressure him to do so.â

Summary:
An alternate universe what if, where what if Yuji and his grandfather had a small house and rented the second floor to salaryman Nanami Kento.
Nanami just wanted quiet and a yard to sit in when exhausted from his boring job. He didn't expect to have the owner's grandson imprint on him like a puppy. But Nanami finds that he doesn't mind being adopted as family by Yuji.
And when the worst comes to pass, both curses and the higher ups at Jujutsu High better be prepared for how far Nanami will go for his son.
I am in love with the idea of parent Nanami and his child Yuuji because I just know deep down inside that Nanami would be a great parent. He would be the right mix of strict yet soft and I just know he would be so kind and supportive and would want Yuuji to do whatever makes him happy ...
And also I know Nanami mentioned he doesn't want a family until be quits jujutsu sorcery, but I picture him being assigned to pick Yuuji up after the death of his grandpa & bc the higher ups wanted to send him off to an orphanage, Nanami decided to take care of toddler Yuuji the best he could
I picture him being so soft for his child too, like imagine toddler Yuuji staring at Nanami who's kneeling in front of him and telling him sternly not to eat the chocolate animal biscuits in the fridge before dinner, and he goes to take a bath & when he comes out, he sees Yuuji eating the biscuits, chocolate smeared on his face and crumbs everywhere and when he sees Nanami he innocently stares up at him and holds out an animal biscuit ( in the shape of a tiger ) for him and Nanami can't get upset because who can when Yuuji's staring up at him with the most adorable expression ever ? He and Yuuji clean up the mess together and then have dinner & after dinner have the chocolate animal biscuits
And I also picture Nanami going grocery shopping with toddler Yuuji in one of those baby harnesses and Yuuji's gnawing on his tie & there's drool everywhere and when Nanami gently pulls the tie away, and tells him not to bite it, toddler Yuuji looks at him and goes " Banana " because to his toddler mind, Nanami's tie is a banana ( albiet a tasteless banana ), and people love Yuuji so much !! The workers at the supermarket always give Yuuji so much free samples just because he's cute and he says hi to everyone. Also I picture Yuuji attempting to give his coat to the raw chickens because " they look cold ".
I picture Nanami and Yuuji being a little family, Nanami tucking Yuuji into bed and reading him a bedtime story and they both fall asleep, Nanami making proper breakfast for Yuuji every single morning & stopping along the way to jujutsu tech to pet every single cat ( Yuuji named one Nanamin and he just babbles to the rest ) and also I imagine every single member of staff ( including Yaga ) feeling like grandparents to Yuuji, when Nanami leaves him on campus to go on missions, they all dote on him and give him bread and cookies and sweets & sometimes Yaga gives him a non-cursed doll he made
I donât know where this came from but it exists now. Just something short and sweet.
Notes: F!reader, fluff, established marriage, newborns and other baby stuff included.
Coming home from a particularly nasty mission to the sight heâs been missing all day long.
Nanami knows heâs late, he knows youâre waiting up for him. His mission took longer than expected and he hated missing any moment at home.
The baby would be asleep by now, hopefully, but thereâs always tomorrow, and thereâs nothing stopping him from popping his head in the nursery to check on the baby. Just to make sure he still had ten fingers and ten toes.
Your son, Yu, has your eyes and Kentoâs blond hair, mix that with his gummy smile and he was too cute to look away from.
âSomeone having a rough night?â Nanami walked into your bedroom and found you feeding Yu.
âI think he was just hungry and missing his dad.â
âSorry Iâm late-â
âDonât worry about it, okay? Iâm just glad youâre back. Did your mission go well?â
Nanami sighed, your understanding nature was a blessing. He hated disappointing you. âIt was⊠troublesome and tiring. But it was ultimately successful.â
You hummed and Yu decided he was full, âMind if I burp him?â Nanami laid a towel over his shoulder and took him gingerly. With the gentlest hand, he started patting your sonâs back. âHi, to you too sweetheart.â
The sight made you smile, knowing your partner was an active parent took the weight off your shoulders. Nanami loved your baby beyond words. The sound of rhythmic patting was almost putting you to sleep.
âOh that was a great burp buddy!â The exclamation alerted you fully awake. âLetâs see if you got one more in there for daddy.â
Tears definitely werenât welling in your eyes. Nope. Okay- itâs not your fault. Pregnancy and motherhood has rocked your emotions.
Nanami wasnât concerned about your tears. He knew you had become extra emotional, he was still curious about what triggered the crying though and asked. âYou guys are so cute.â
He smiled and turned his head to kiss his now asleep sonâs head. âI canât believe how small he is.â
âI canât believe how fast he fell asleep for you, heâs been restless today. Barely took a single nap.â
Your husband just hummed in response- smugly, in your opinion. âIâll take him to his crib, you get comfortable.â
âKento you havenât even taken your jacket off yet, let me.â You were about to stand up and take him but you were denied- only able to kiss your babyâs head goodnight.
âItâs not far, youâve been taking care of him all day long and you look exhausted.â
His intention was to help, but secretly, he might be a little bit selfish with the baby. How could he not want to spend every waking moment with him, after all?
