Happy birthday to my homeboy Kaneki!! He is officially Older now
Little Bark’s friend Dave...He’s stronger than you’d think, after all he’s been through.
I don’t regret for a minute taking legal guardianship of him. And I’m proud of my daughter for getting him out of a bad situation.

Thank you! I’m impressed, too. Just, this kid. He hears music in his head all the time, and pulls one of these songs outta his *ahem* about once a week. He composes little ditties on his laptop on the bus ride home from school. We started him on piano lessons a little over a year ago, just to give him some tools, but even before that he was playing full songs on the keyboard. It’s really fun and also awesome to watch his imagination flow out of his fingers.
I’m really proud of my girls and their choice of harmless April Fools fun this morning, which consisted of tissues stuffed in the toes of my shoes and bags of cereal switched into different boxes (we are a family thankfully free of food issues). They have a kids prank book and they purposely avoided ones that were scary, mean, or gross.
