Day 2: Ashura ‘Ash’ Ketchum
Random fact about their past: Ash grew up thinking his Father had abandoned his family and as he was the one to name Ash, Ashura, he considered legally changing his name. He found out the truth before that decision was ever made, but before that it was a point of tension between Ash and his Mother (one of very few).
Random likes/dislikes: Ash likes eating jelly before it’s set (no he’s not just impatient, . Really. He’s not. No). Ash dislikes dandelions
(“There’s too much fluffy bits, there’s a reason they never make your wish come true, you can’t make one wish from lots of separate fluffy bits.”
Misty sweat dropped. “Ash, I don’t think that’s the point, it’s more like the act of blowing on the dandelion is what makes your wish—“
“Neither does wishing on a star, but people do that anyway,” Misty barked over him)
A random fact about their career/occupation: Politics goes over his head a lot of the time, but his secretary(s) (Conway and Gary(sorta)) make sure he knows what means what. He’s (unfortunately) quite knowledgeable about political science and how to talk to rich people. His favourite past-time at galas and events is to act like he’s not comprehending what everyone is saying and then interject with something really smart or to correct someone, just to see the looks on their faces.
Random fact about their experience as a parent: Ash has never really been available, his job keeps him away for almost the entire year, affording him nearly zero time with his family. However, the one time he was there for more than a day (when this oldest was 5) both of his kids got the flu. He was not a happy camper.
A random fact: Ash has to shave daily, his job requires him to be…’presentable’. But, he has to wear a lot of makeup on his face, to hide the small cuts from the razors that he always manages to nick his skin with. It’s an occupational hazard, and he thought he’d get better at shaving and avoiding injury, but no. He’s still bad even after 20+ years of shaving.
