Detroit, Michigan once boasted a small chain of Paris Hotels. Opened in 1952, their motto was “your home away from home.” In later years, both locations were used as rooming houses. They are pictured here in 2009 and 2019.

As of 2020, the red Paris Hotel is decaying but still remains while the white burned down years before.
