My totally-not-original Corona-themed custom bike build I started during the lockdown 3(!) years ago and took forever to finish due to supply chain issues has proven to be pretty fun. It’s my Parker-specific spec; street legal with DOT Parker DT tires but otherwise it’s all desert tuned. I usually run DOT tires and a light weight tube anyway - the additional plys on DOT tires let you ride on a flat tire, which I have. It’s really my night rides in the sand dunes bike, but that’s such a rare use-case I run the knobbies mostly so I can enjoy night rides here. Or desert bar runs. It’s a fun versatile bike! I like winding out small engines and this one screams pleasantly.
