Edgar knocked on Parker’s front door, smiling and greeting his boyfriend with a kiss as soon as he saw the other. “Ready for date night?” he beamed. The vampire carried a tote bag containing a couple bottles of wine, some canvases, and painting equipment. Talking with Grace about the classes she taught really inspired Edgar.

@parkerjin Declan wasn’t looking for anything, really, not at the moment, sure he was a demon but he could walk around and enjoy nature , right? It was not like he had to always be ruining people’s lives, which to be fair was one of his favorite things to do, and with that thought he noticed the familiar face, he’d had a few encounters with that ass before. Now it was time to have some fun. Walking just a little faster, Declan stoped behind the other man, “Hello there,” he wispered in his ear, mostly to freak him out, “Nice that I run into you in here, huh?”

Mira remembered when coffee was much more straightforward, not that she was complaining, all the new flavors were actually rather enjoyable--most of them anyway. It was the sizes that always got her confused. Maybe that was why she was paying attention when she turned around right into one of the employees, thankfully she ordered something iced.
“I’m so sorry! I wasn’t-umm...” She reached behind her, grabbing a handful of napkins and holding them out as a peace offering of sorts. “I can pay for a new shirt or...or something. You’re not going to get in trouble, are you?”
He had called Parker earlier to let him know he had made it to town alright and would love to come by if he was free. Luckily it was his younger brother’s day off and so Nathan followed his gps to the other’s apartment. As the front door opened he smiled and pulled Parker into a hug. “Good to see you gang-aji.”

The witch walked into Brewed Awakening and perked up at a familiar face. “Oh hi! Parker right? You’re Grace’s familiar? I’m Lizzie,” she smiled. It was so cool getting to finally meet her friend’s soul mate.

Spotting the familiar head of hair at one of the standing tables, Edgar walked up next to Parker, placing two cups of pumpkin spice lattes down as he smiled to the other. “Is it weird getting a barista coffee? I was thinking about that the whole way over here.”
Edgar perked up suddenly. “Oh! Before I forget.” He reached into his coat pocket and pulled out a small piece of folded cloth. Unfolding it, he gave Parker a sheepish smile as he held out the gift. It was a handsewn purple neckerchief with a golden sun in the middle. “It’s for your costume. I um...had to do a little bit of research so I hope it came out alright. I’m not super familiar with current pop culture.”

nils stepped into the coffee shop, glancing around. it was very different than the shops on the mainland, actually nice and put together. the one he tended to frequent were usually set up more like bars, just with more coffee (and in the best of places, something special to smoke). they were usually teeming with people and activity, but this place was relatively quiet, and it didn’t look like anyone else was smoking. with a soft sigh, nils sidled up to the counter, ready to order and ask a few questions. “anyone home?” ( @parkerjin )
