“Raptor!”
Raptor overheard Synapse and looked over before continuing his whining sounds.
‘C-Careful…’
Synapse blinked and walked to Raptor before kneeling next to him.
“What’s the matter?”
Raptor whined and looked towards a long road to his right.
‘Those bullies from the wharf… they were here and… things got chaotic…’
Synapse blinked and got up to look down the long road.
“Where did Vanna go?”
Raptor gestured his head down the road and whined.
‘She went ahead… then…’
Raptor whined again as Lumi got out of the car and went over to comfort Raptor.
“It’s alright, we are here”
Raptor nuzzled up to Lumi as she hugged him.
“Something bad happen?”
Synapse walked down the road a bit and looked at the buildings close by.
“Whoa… Lumi look…”
Lumi looked up and walked over to where Synapse was and looked at where he pointed.
“What the…”
Both examined the damage to the buildings, claw scratches that dug deep into the foundation with such brutal force.
“You think…?”
Lumi questions as Synapse shook his head to not think of the possibilities.
“Raptor, you said bullies were, here right? Vanna too… Where did they go?”
Raptor looked up to Lumi and Synapse before blinking.
‘Further on… I lost track of them after awhile…’
Lumi walked over and carefully tried to pick Raptor up.
“What should we do?”
Synapse looked around before looking back to Raptor and Lumi.
“I don’t want to leave the two of them alone… Let alone if bullies are about”
Lumi nodded as Synapse walked over to his car and opened the back door.
“Come on you two, let’s keep looking”
Raptor got up and hopped into the backseat with Lumi before Synapse gets into the driver’s seat.
“I hope they’re alright”
Lumi and Synapse buckled up before looking around.
“I hope so too, let’s look down the road”
Synapse turned into the road and drove in slowly as Lumi glanced at the claw marks along the foundations.
“This is such a force… Something out of ordinary”
Synapse kept concentrating on the road ahead as Lumi looked around Raptor whimpering next to her.
‘Please be okay master…’
Lumi looked to Raptor and pets his head softly before hearing her phone ring in her pocket.
“Huh?”
Lumi dug her phone out of her pocket and looked.
