Char stepped back and looked at her right hand with a bloody gash.

Char brought her hand up to her face and lapped a bit of the blood off with her tongue.

Synapse looked up and flinched before taking his glasses off to wipe away some of the raindrops and putting them back on.
“Now that you know about this… I should shut you up”
Synapse’s eyes widen as Char raised her right hand up and noticed the same black mist from the time when Grey stopped them.
“Wait! You sure about this?”
Char gave a serious look before taking a step towards Synapse.
“You shouldn’t even be here… You caused this, so I’ll dispose of you”
Synapse stepped back rather quickly that he slipped on a puddle and hit his back hard on the ground.
“Say farewell…”
Char’s right hand formed into a black dragon claw as Synapse shut his eyes and raised his left arm in hopes to shield him.
“I’m sorry that I hurt you… I never intended to ever!”
After a moment Synapse decided to lower his arm and peeked, noticing the claw was an inch away from his face.
“Bad time to start holding back girl! End him and stop this pain!”
Synapse watched as Char’s hand was trembling badly and started to pull away from Synapse’s face.
“No…”
Synapse was surprised at Char fighting back for control over her own body.
“I won’t…”
The black mist receded as the tinge of yellow in Char’s eyes faded away to show her normal brown eyes.
“Char…?”
Char gave the faintest smile at Synapse.
“Yeah it’s me…”
Synapse smiled and managed to get up carefully into a kneeling pose.
“I’m glad you’re back…”
Char took a slight step forward before tripping and collapsing under the pressure; Synapse was quick to move and catch her in his arms.
“I’m… sorry…”
Char huffed out a breath before closing her eyes and going limp within Synapse’s arms.
“Char…? Char!”
