a conversation i imagine between katara and bumi II

One evening coming home from Republic City Hospital, Katara holds Bumi in her arms and asks him what he had for lunch.

“Sausage, rice… and vegetables. Blech!”

“Bumi, you have to eat meat and vegetables to grow strong,” she gently reminds the toddler.

“No, only sausage! Like Uncle Bumi!”

She pauses.

“Bumi, what do you think my name is?” she asks him softly.

“Mama Bumi,” he replies.

“And Daddy?”

“Daddy Bumi!”

“Why do you think everyone’s name is Bumi?” she asks softly.

“Because Daddy told me that Bumi was the name of somebody he loves. So, everybody I love is called Bumi!” he exclaims unknowingly.

Katara’s eyes start to well up. “So, it’s Uncle Bumi, Mama Bumi and Daddy Bumi?”

“And Grandpa Bumi and Gan-Gan Bumi!” he replies excitedly.

She laughs, amused with the pride he displays for his novel naming system.

Newly dubbed Recess AU!

Cleo Bdubs and Scar play house within every game and Cleo wears her dance costume everywhere when she plays mom cause she says she looks more mature. Bdubs is horribly accident prone and has fallen out of many trees in his life time of like 7 years.

Tango is jumpy and has nearly burned down the school many times Impulse finds this hilarious and has been the cause of several fires.

The bad boys found sunglasses left on the playground and stole them. jimmy took an old vest from his sister (Lizzie) to feel more badass. (Also Jimmy has wings but I didn’t wanna draw them cause that’s hard) also Pearl and Grian are siblings but like adopted siblings cause Pearl is a moth. More sketches soon :D I’m having lots of fun drawing these guys (close ups after the big one)
