The Partials fandom is mostly dead but to anyone out there...
Did you know there's a small prequel called Isolation? It takes place 20 years prior to the break and it starts out with a familiar character ;) I'm not giving spoilers.

The Partials Sequence is under appreciated. Truly.
It has a lot of real world and currently applicable moral dilemmas, RM reminds me of COVID, I think Samm might be a good representation of autism (and done in a very healthy way IMO), there are plots behind plots, well portrayed racism (and why it's bad!), and more.
I read this when I was in my late teens/early 20s. I loved it then and I love it now, about 8-10 years later. I wish it had a bigger following.
i feel like i need to reblog everything and anything i see in the Partials book series tag because the Book Series is Just So Good and its insane and there is not nearly enough content in the tags

I have re-discovered a surprising connection in my interests and realized my love for HZD is more specific than I thought. The stories are completely different and yet so very similar in such ways that I can't help but wonder if most people who love one would love the other.
