I've been stepping out, Tumblr. It's not me. It's you. Who? You know who. The thing is, you take me for granted. Instagram shows me affection. I get likes, and I don't even have to ask for them. Sure, the presentation is shit, the thumbnailing insulting, and the interface is carefully tuned to thwart my use case. But I feel like Instagram sees me, even if it's just in meaningless, fleeting glances. Look, maybe I'll do some cross-posting.
