The old, converted fishing trawler had seen better days. Damaged in a fight with a bounty they, in the end, hadn’t caught anyway. Woolongs slipping through their fingers like sand on a beach – and the last of their savings would be swallowed by the repair costs. Nothing they could do about that. No ship meant they would be stuck and thus wouldn’t bring HOME any money either. Rotten business.

Still better than the alternative, wasn’t it?

Everyone has some version of her, and almost none of them are anything real. Granted, thats by her own design. She has a habit of only showing you what she wants you to see. Building her appearance for you based on what she needs you to think she is.

Tessa! You took a character and brought her to life. You’re the backbone of the sky high rp community. I love reading your threads, Khione is such a joy and so unique. I love her so much. I also love your other ocs you have, they each have their own distinct stories and personalities!

Thank you very much for your kind words, I'm very proud of what I've managed to do with Kie in the six years that I've been writing her and if even one person took comfort from her existence or felt seen because of her or her relationships with the people around her (especially the one with Warren) then I've done what I set out to do.

Truly, though, I'm the backbone, you're the lungs @partyof, because your posts - especially the ooc ones - are very often a breath of fresh air because they interrogate the things that I myself have also seen in rp and bring it to light.

That said, I can't wait to swing by and send you more asks, because much like my characters, yours are also distinct in regards to their personalities and stories and I like that a lot.

(PS: I know I shouldn't play favorites but Calanthe is literally my favorite because she very much reminds me of the main character in the books I Feed Her To The Beast and The Beast is Me + I Am The Dark That Answers When You Call by Jamison Shea.)
