I almost forgot to put this together! Another month, another sketchdump! This one’s for Mira- I mean May. I can’t believe I made this fucking joke two months in a row holy shit
I didn’t really draw much this month either. I liked the original sketches from the headshots I drew last week, So I’m including em here. This month was mostly spent testing out brushes, though there isn’t much to show for it. They’re so fancy and there’s so many of them, it’s a little overwhelming ;~;
The bigger painting is a WIP of Mav’s Isaretta (whom I love, so much) from their original story! As soon as I read that Isaretta’s tarot would be the strength card, I knew what I had to do >:) Don’t mind the background textures and shit, that was just to make it a little less boring than the empty white bg haha I just wanted to post something, cuz I really like how it’s coming so far :O Unfortunately it’s super slow-going and still a ways off from being done orz I’ll probs rework it a bunch too; but someday I’ll finish it!
The plan is to finish a proper art in June haha I’ve got lots of WIPs to choose from, I just gotta, ye know, do it. For reals.
I don’t draw my smol fighty child as much, which is unfortunate cuz I love her and she’s fun to draw ;;u;;
Trying to practice expressions a bit, these were fun~ The first one came out pretty smug which called for a sweating Blackwall to complete the picture lmaooo I’m still having trouble trying to streamline the sketching process, so that I’m not spending hours and hours on dumb doodles, but I’m working on it!
☺♞➹ for Pascha! <3
THANKS MAV ;;u;; <3 and omg perf, I’ve played Pascha the longest but never really talk about her?? Oops... time to change that!!
Answers for the Thedosian OC ask meme!
☺ - something they’re proud ofShe’s pretty proud of being Inquisitor, even if it isn’t exactly something she wants to do. Pascha does like the power and reach that comes with the position, but what she enjoys most is people having to acknowledge that the Inquisitor is a dwarf. It’s not often that dwarves hold positions of power, especially not where most of Thedas is concerned, so her being a dwarven woman leading the Inquisition makes Pascha feel proud. She’s a proud dwarf in general, and anyone who’s got a problem with that can shove it, as far as she’s concerned.
♞ - a time they’ve felt powerfulPascha felt pretty great after being made Inquisitor; especially when they gave her that big-ass sword that’s almost longer than she is tall. Being from one of the more influential Carta families had given her some feeling of power, but that couldn’t compare to being the leader of the Inquisition. Similarly, she felt powerful after the final battle, once she’d closed the breach and saved the world. Who else could say they’d done the same? Besides the Hero of Ferelden lmao
➹ - Varric’s nickname for them (even if they’ve never met)“Freckles” because she’s covered in em haha. I also like “Stones” as a bit of a dig at how un-dwarfy she is; Varric does like his irony. “Sticks & Stones” is just so funny to me for an elf and dwarf Inquisitor duo, so I’d use it in that AU [waggles eyebrows at u Mav]
Thanks for the prompts friend, these were fun! *O* makes me wanna fill these more often haha develop the characters, do the writing thing!!

Okay so I’ve been working on these answers for a good week, sorry it took so long to reply, anon! I was asked quite a few all of a sudden, which was really fun! I never get asked things! I could talk about my DA charas for ages, and I kind of do here, sooo… enjoy B) I’m still filling out the second set of questions I was asked, those ones are taking a bit longer but should be up soon!
Anyways, this kicks off my answers from the Cadash questions post!
3. Does your Cadash have a beard? Why or why not? If so do they decorate it?Pascha does not keep a beard, but occasionally has stubble. She likes beards on others, just not herself.
8. Do they have any superstitions they practice before a fight or a big event?Nothing in particular besides making sure her weapons are in order and that she has enough poultices and herbs. If she’s attending an event where her bow isn’t permitted, like the ball at Halamshiral, Pascha will make sure to have a small dagger concealed somewhere on her person. You never know, someone in attendance may have a score to settle, and old habits die hard. Other than supply and weapons prep, she has no superstitions she practices.
9. How do they react to people skirting around the fact that they’re a dwarf?When people skirt around the fact that she’s a dwarf, Pascha notices, and will call them out on it. She usually takes a humorous approach, like when Kieran comments on her being a dwarf. Unless they’re being a prick about it, then she’ll stop playing funny and cut them with words.
18. What is your Cadash’s sense of humor like?Pascha is very sarcastic and has a smart mouth that can sometimes get her in trouble. She uses humour to lighten the mood and to deflect, but also for the sake of it; she likes making people laugh. Pascha is quite proud of herself for her witty quips and clever puns, so it’s a good ego boost when people laugh at and enjoy her jokes.
21. How do they feel about being a surface dwarf? What are their feelings towards dwarves from Orzammar?Life on the surface is all Pascha’s ever known, so she doesn’t feel like she’s missing out. She’s perfectly happy living on the surface, and never feels like she’s “not a true dwarf” just because she wasn’t born underground.
Pascha does think Orzammar is very backwards and the dwarves there are too stuck in their ways. They are a proud race, and it’s that pride which has kept them back. Maintaining tradition and order is not always a good thing, especially if it’s at the detriment of progress.
22. How do they feel about being a dwarven inquisitor?Well, she’s a dwarf and the Inquisitor; there’s not much more to it than that. The title and position was sort of thrust upon her, but she’s grown into it. She’s not-so-secretly proud of that fact; it’s not often a dwarven women holds a position of power and respect. If anyone has a problem with her being a dwarf, they’ll just have to shut up and deal with it, because she’s not backing down.
23. Do they align with any Dwarven Stereotypes? Describe how they do or don’t. How do they feel about this?In many areas, Pascha fits dwarven stereotypes. She can be rude, a bit selfish, and is always ready to fight, whether it’s with words or knives. She also enjoys ale (or any strong drink) in large quantities, and holds her liquor well. Pascha is a proud dwarf, and doesn’t see the shame in fitting some of the more negative stereotypes of her race. She’s an angry dwarf who sometimes lacks tact, but she takes pride in her position as Inquisitor and does a damn good job.
24. Have they ever been to Orzammar?Oh, there are ways into Orzammar, if you know where to look. Pascha has been in an out of the city on smuggling operations with the Carta several times. However, she has no desire to stay and see more of the place. The people there are an example of how far behind the times much of dwarven society remains to be; not a fun bunch to be around.
29. What is your Cadash’s preferred weapon? Do they have a name for it? Decorate it?Pascha prefers a lightweight longbow. Her choice of weapon in-game is the bow called Perseverance. It’s sturdy, intimidating in appearance, and most importantly a powerful weapon. Depending on the type of enemies she’ll face, she enchants it with either a powerful frost rune or a cleansing rune.
32. What is their fighting style? How does their height effect how they fight with their weapon? How do they fight solo vs in a group, and how well?Pascha fights dirty and uses her lack of height to her advantage. When you’re small it’s easy to weave between enemies and disappear from sight as needed. Although her bow is quite tall, it’s lightweight enough that she has no problem wielding it.
When fighting solo, she takes enemies out one at a time from a distance in stealth. She prefers fighting with a full party, which allows for a more tactical approach. Pascha will employ the same tactics with a group as she would solo, but it’s much easier to pick off targets when another party member serves as a distraction. She also tried to find the highest surface she can climb and will perch there to shoot enemies down.
