no cause the way Pasmay just exists is so attractive. he took one glance at that man and decided he would throw everything else, the gauge stability of life he had figured out, to the side to stay by him. he wanted that cookie and he GOT IT. he gave up going to his powwow, ran his truck to death, walked for days? all for this pretty pretty man? just to take care of him so gently? that just so... admirable? all he gave, on a near whim? Link I understand you. I understand both of you.

HELLO PARKOVITCH / COLLIE PARKER NATION. i want to say something really quickly about the movie Wildhood!

i watched it today and i am so genuine when i tell you it is a fantastic movie that i will recommend to just about anyone and everyone. and Yes, there are clear connections one can make between Link + Pasmay's relationship/dynamic and Gary + Collie's relationship/dynamic. i've seen people talking about using scenes from Wildhood in parkovitch edits or being inspired by the movie in their fanfiction/fanart.

that is all well and good HOWEVER, please be respectful when doing so! Wildhood is a queer love story, yes, but it is also an important story about culture and indigenous identity. please do not erase or ignore those important aspects of the story.

this is not meant to call out anyone specific! infact, i have yet to see anyone being disrespectful or ignorant in regards to this film. i just wanted to say something now, before any issues do arise. (this is also not only to parkovitch fans, lol. all collie parker fans please be aware and respectful. collie is from sioux falls and implied to be algonquin , pasmay is from canada and is mi'kmaw. they may be similar in personality, but their backgrounds are very different!)
