This cover made me think a lot about Trying Too Hard actually, and though they’re different in tone and meaning, they both have Thomas’ style (both acting & production) and subtleties of his characters

This isn’t really a comparison but just an appreciation for the echoes of crossover 💙

Matching the (personal) meanings of the colours to the verses/lyrics? Because that’s what he’s doing. If you read the lyrics with which color sang them, they match what the sides would be saying if they were discussing this song like a problem. It’s fitting that the ‘Logan-coded’ one is the most about moving on and pushing through to the future. I love analyzing this stuff!
