I will always fight and say that Dr. Ryland Grace cries A Normal Ammount considering the circumstances he's under!!!
Hot take: Grace didn't save the stars. He only delayed the inevitable death of the eridians and humans.
Think about it. The petrova lines are still there. All other stars are still dying. And all the astrophage would have to do is evolve to survive the taomeba.
Id say give it 100 years max and the sun will begin dimming again. Even if the taomeba killed the entire petrova line, eventually the star would get re-infected since again, all other stars are still dimming.
That being said... other than timeline problems, this makes it much more possible that Iron Lung and PHM are in the same universe.
What if in Iron Lung all stars have blinked out EXCEPT Tau-Ceti and 40 Eridani. It'd be hard to find out two stars survived right? Especially from all they back at Sol.
