“YOU BROKE YOUR PEGLEG!” yelled an angry apprentice “Ya i tripped.” Crutch lied badly “The hell you did! I’ve known your for thirteen years you old coot and the only times you’ve fallen down are when the boats turned over or someone had the nerve to trip your wrinkly butt!” Crutch shrugs “What can I say they don’t make peg legs like they used to.” His apprentice just stares at him its Blatantly obvious they aren’t buying it “What do you want me to say then? It’s not gonna change the fact that its broken and you have to take over now.” At that his apprentice gaped “Y-You can be serious there’s no way I could fill your shoes!” Crutch hobbles up to his apprentice placing a hand on their shoulder “Listen I am eighty-seven  years old and I stopped being able to beat you in a spar about seven ago and no one else In the whole navy can even come close to your skill on a vessel,and besides if you don’t take it I’m gonna give to Jerry.”Crutch says with a grin.A look of horror covers his apprentice’s face “Jeez old man no need to make threats I’ll take the job” Crutch hugs His apprentice “thatta girl.”
