Comunque, c'è più romanticismo quando dalla macchina attende che tu entri nel portone di casa tua, rispetto a quando ti regala due rose per provare a entrare lui.

FRIENDLY REMINDER that we all read the same book and that this was in every copy. So stop ignoring it please and pick better arguments. And yes I’m working on an "In defense of Elriel and critical thinking skills” post. I’m not saying it’s endgame (although the foreshadowing would certainly suggest it). But I’m saying it’s LEGITIMATE and that elucien started on a dangerous, bad note. Please—JAYSUS—reread. I can’t take this warped, Rose colored way of thinking about how people act and what things mean.
I mean… Let me kidnap you in the middle of the night, tie your limbs together, gag you, bring you to a castle filled with terrifying magic-wielding Fae, then throw you in a giant bathtub until you drown—then dump you out and have The FIRST PERSON who helps you claim that you belong to him/That you were made for him. HOLD. ME. THE. FUCK. BACK.
It’s like we didn’t read the same book. But we did.

Broken Mirrors
By: Sarah Fox
There are broken mirrors all around us, making us see our worth through shattered glass. To the ladies who struggle with insecurities and shame, this one is for you:
To the girl who starves herself to reach that ideal weight,
To the girl who wants a fuller figure, stuffing herself with every piece of food on her plate,
To the girl who scrolls through social media sites, comparing her photos to others who receive more likes,
To the girl who is afraid to step on that scale, bothered by those high numbers.
To the girl who looks in disgust at what she sees in the mirror,
To the girl who slathers makeup on her face to cover her blemishes,
To the girl who feels the pressures of trying to maintain a perfect reputation,
To the girl who wears long sleeved shirts to cover those scars on her wrists,
To the girl who thought of killing herself and is now ashamed of her decision to stay alive,
To the girl who feels alone in a crowded room,
To the girl who purposely sits alone, longing for something to fill the emptiness that she feels inside.
To the woman who works endless nights to feed her starving children,
To the woman who was lied to several times by the man she thought she loved,
To the woman who received that eviction notice,
To the woman who was told that she doesn’t belong, and that she doesn’t have what it takes to succeed,
To the woman who is struggling to embrace her sexuality,
To the woman who is forced to stay silent and absorb the blows.
To the woman who was ridiculed for having that abortion,
To the woman who doesn’t know when her husband is coming back home,
To the woman who was overlooked for her hard work,
To the woman who wants to speak out for Christ, but is living with an addiction that she can’t control,
To the woman who stays in the relationship even though it is draining her soul.
To every girl, to every woman who longs for acceptance and love,
Look no further than the Father up above.
This world has broken mirrors which show us a marred reflection of who we were meant to be.
There is someone who holds our true reflection,
There is someone who is longing to bind your broken heart.
He sees your hurt,
He feels your pain,
He weeps for you and knows you by name.
Come to the Father who waits with open arms,
His only begotten Son took all those burdens on the cross,
You gained life at the expense of his loss.
There is a new image that outshines those broken shards of glass.
Your worth is found in Christ, He has a love for you that will always continue to last.

English Monster Rancher Battle Cards (Fan-made to look official)
OK! So! Wondering what Monster Rancher Battle Card is? Well, it’s a card game I love, that almost went completely extinct. Long story short, back in 1999, MRBC was a trading card game that came into existence and then died out just 2 years later with almost no following or digital trace. I really loved it, and I wanted to be able to play it.
a page of original monster cards I made this post a while back, highlighting the progress I had made at that time in recreating the game. (You may notice I’ve stolen a lot of text from that post for this post. I spent a lot of time making these cards, so please excuse me if this post itself is brief. :P)
card backs
However, the game barely existed physically, and a lot of the cards were never translated into English, except digitally.
a page of Suezo’s skills At that point, I was more trying to recreate the game and enhance it for physical play. I was going off the aesthetic style of the Gameboy game (my favorite look of MRBC) and making my own changes based on game balance and usability.
a rare Tiger holo card Hop back to now, and I’ve been lucky enough to get my hands on an almost complete set of Series 1 of MRBC. (In total, there’s 4 series, and some promo cards here and there. Series 1 covers about 40% of the total cards, including all the key cards for the game.)
a cleaned, translated card So I scanned and cleaned all those cards then made some neato-templates so that I could lay all the information, now in English, back onto the cards.
a Photoshop template I finished inputting all the data, and now they’re ready to go! You can play with these, the rules, and maybe a few counters.

AAAAAAA there's nothing more I enjoy than translating Wingdings , it's so much fun. I originally learnt it because i had a hardcore undertale phase in high school when the game initially came out
I originally only learnt uppercase cause gaster (and associated fanart) only used uppercase, but now I'm trying to learn lowercase
ALONG with that, I'm learning WEBdings, which is its own alphabet but very similar in style to Wingdings
"Webdings is a TrueType dingbat typeface developed in 1997. It was initially distributed with Internet Explorer 4.0, then as part of Core fonts for the Web, and is included in all versions of Microsoft Windows since Windows 98." - Unicode 7.0.0 , Unicode Consortium
"The Wingdings fonts were designed by Kris Holmes and Charles Bigelow in 1990 and 1991." - Microsoft, The Wingding Font Family, Microsoft Typography
for example, Chanel started to produce more "masculine" clothes, because when the second war started and the women went to work, she noticed that it was very difficult to wear the round skirts, and that pants were much better. Honestly, fashion is nothing futile, and I could spend hours citing examples and talking about it.. sorry to fill your ask w/ this :) <3
this has been so interesting, this one was my favourite fact oh my gosh, I hope there’s a way I can extend ask word count because yes, this yes yes yes, thank you for this friend!!!
(ps general psa again: rant to me about things your passionate about and I will think about it forever)
A collection of every live reading of any chapter belonging in the Tortall universe by Tamora Pierce, up to Page, Chapter 15, Part 1.
Hello friends, I am here to tell you about the wonders that is THIS MAN
MARK OSHIRO
I love this man and his reading videos. He inspired me to make my own reading channel. His reading is wonderful, his commentary as he reads is a MOOD, and he’s just so friendly and endearing.
He also has a tumblr! (I cannot for the life of me remember what his handle is)
HE ALSO PUBLISHED HIS OWN BOOK:
The link I shared is to his reading of (MOST) of the Tortall series by Tamora Pierce, who is, in my opinion, one of THE best YA fantasy writers.
He’s currently making his way through the Discworld series, but he’s done so many other wonderful books before. Give his channel a look <3
This has been a passion post, thank you.
