When you look in the mirror do you like the reflection of the person you see?
When you go to sleep at night are you at peace with the person that you are?
When you have completed your day to day activities do you feel as though even though tomorrow isn’t promised…that you’ve done everything that you can TODAY to make tomorrow a better day?
See a lot of times we are so compelled to control people and things, and we fail to focus on what we should be aiming to control in hopes of attaining something more important and that’s peace within self. I read a blog by a chick that I follow on Twitter named ‘Passport Cutty’ and she mentioned how we try to control everything but ourselves. We try to make people love us. We try to make people want to stay with us. We try to make people appreciate us. We try to make people see things the way we see them. We try to make people do this; and we try to make people do that. There’s so many people that we try to change and its so many things that we try to make work for us. But what are we doing to control ourselves? Really! What are we doing?
