Tried a new (to me) pasta shape—excellent! The only drawback is that it was hard to tell how filling they would be…… I read them like penne or other hollow short pastas that are largely air and served myself a HUGE bowl, but they are actually very substantial!
My mother would tell you that another drawback is that they are prone to falling apart into two pieces, the wiggly outer fringe like fusilli and the inner twisty core like a caracol shell, but if you ask me, that is actually a selling point!!!!! TWO pasta shape! 20/10.
