Well, that was one way to make an entrance...

The mage laid flat on the ground, nose slightly bent to one side as his face gracefully kissed the ground (If by gracefull we defined the concept of his face mixed with both mud and dirt dust). Whatever he had been doing previous to this, likely a backfired attempt at stunts from a tree, it had not gone well for him. Though he hardly showed more sign of injury other than that.

“ I am okay, I am fine. like a tart. “ The mage said as he pulled himself off the ground, trying to clean most by just whiping it off and the rest by a small spell, god bless magic. “ Excuse this silly man’s scare, my lady, and the... small amount of mud in your clothes. It will be off in no time... if I am allowed to use magic to clean it, that is? Truly sorry for the unwanted surprise, you were not the one meant to be have such, nor in this way... “

Buttercup tapped her chin, setting down the paper she was reading "While I really REALLY love sweet, bitter is a nice change for if you start getting sick of it. So I guess I like both bitter and sweet!"

    This human seemed disgustingly cheery. Chara isn’t sure how Buttercup got here, but they’re not allowed to complain. Thanks mun. They huff && nod their head, expression somewhat judgy. “ .. Good to know. “ 

They decide not to tell her that they think her answer is weak. Cowards && indecisive people choose both.

Asriel walked along, looking down at his phone with a painfully neutral expression, a bag’s handle nestled in the crook of his arm with the bag attached to it swinging back and forth some. In his other hand was a warm, fresh cup of coffee from one of the coffee shops in town. He absolutely loved the stuff and often ordered it whenever he went out. Something about the bitter yet sweet taste was so good.

As he slipped the phone into his pants pocket, standing at a crosswalk waiting for the light to switch from STOP to WALK, eyes scanning around lazily as he waited for what seemed like a small eternity as traffic kept passing by...the light changed and he started to walk...

 ! !

Something, someone, caught his eye as he spied them entering a shop, the boss monster’s face turning from curiosity to shocked as he then shoved past the other people crossing, running up to one of the windows of the place and putting his hands above his eyes so the glass didn’t reflect, peering inside.

There was no way it could be them, could it??

Hey, now.  I don’t say anything that either isn’t true or that I don’t wholeheartedly believe.

“Hurry and take it! The hotel managers don’t know I’m up here” The chara chuckled nervously before running off “Enjoy! There’s no chocolate in those ones!!”

_____________________________________ "Well thanks! Quick better hide inside before the managers catch you then, this is supposed to be a suite for one!" And she held the door open, already retrieving a cookie to enjoy.

“Well you’re a monster I have never seen around before! Always nice meeting new monsters!” The girl giggled “I hope you like them!”

“Uh, thanks.” He says, taking the cookies and smiling. “Nice seeing new faces around, huh? Never really got that opportunity back home, so thanks.” 

He sniffs the cookies, then takes one from the bag and eats it. He thanks her again and heads on his way- though not before eating another cookie.
