My Opinion on;

Character in general: SANES UNDRESTOOL hrcfsbecufbskbfxyducb OKAY but. My stand on Sans is actually… a little weird? He is an interesting character, but there are certain things about some of his portrayals that tend to irk me a little. Though, at the same time, he can be done really really right? I am not going to lie and say that I never wrote shitty angsty Sans fanfiction that was just a dozen of Bad Tropes glued together with dried grease and regrets.How they play them: Okay, well - I legit love this particular Sans? He seems really… balanced and close to canon in many ways? He is witty and funny and meta and also pretty dark (cough cough i still remember those threads you did with lee and. my heart has never been whole ever since), and he is believably dark - it seems like… dunno, a real character trait and not something that was just shoved in for good old feels. When he’s sad, it is not overplayed, and when he’s joking, it’s so bad you end up smiling. And, just, dunno. I love this potato guy. MMM the normalization of unhealthy and toxic relationships. I couldn’t tell you how many times I’ve seen someone try to pass stuff like incest off as “cute” and… you know, in private, I don’t care what a grown ass adult enjoys. I really don’t. But the moment it’s posted somewhere publicly?

Just… don’t do that. Especially regarding characters that aren’t yours. The Undertale fandom is god awful about this and I wish they’d consider how Toby Fox must feel to see his characters represented the way they often are. I’m tired of seeing people disrespect creators original intentions and characters.

I’m not saying that being sexually attracted to skeletons is bad. I, too, find monsters hot. I’m saying that there’s a limit on how far people should go with that on a public platform. Self-awareness seems drastically lacking.

Flashback

…There is a tiny, squeaky noise under the stairs.

Corry sinks to their bruised, scratched knees - they don’t have to sink very far yet - lower themselves further, lying on their stomach. Their clothes are not very tidy anyway; it is not like a little additional dirt will ruin them much.

There is something - someone - there, in the dark, small and shivering.

Corry reaches out, and ther fingers find something soft. They drag that something out to the light from the window. It is a kitten. It has wide yellow eyes, dim and lifeless, glued almost completely shut with dirt and pus; its black fur is matted, thin. Its little body is weightless. The small chest rises and falls quickly.

The kitten makes another pitiful sound, but it does not move.

Corry stares at it - wide eyes thoughtful and dark. They are thirteen and they do not know how to heal cats. They don’t even know how to take care of them. And can this kitten be helped in the first place, or is it too late?

They bring the small animal to their chest, trying to share their warmth. The kitten is motionless. It is cold out here. Snow is starting to fall.

Corry thinks long and hard. Their fingers gently stroke the black fur.

Then, they squint and see it: the code. Lines and lines of numbers, words, symbols that make up the kitten’s body. There is a lot of red. It is flashing.

“ I am sorry if this doesn’t work, ” they whisper, planting a little kiss on the kitten’s forehead. “ I hope it does. ”

They pull the lines closer and start.
