I finished the electrical box from my Friday online class! I changed some of the wires around to add interest and create a more interesting negative space. Background painted painted with acrylics and the wired are colored pencil. The rest is pastel. I really enjoyed this one! It is for sale so DM me if interested. Ok, ONE more Water Buffalo! This was my completed piece in my Friday online class using soft pastels, an alcohol wash underpainting on Pastelmat. Layers and love, and learning go into these types of paintings and I love every minute of it. There is always that uncomfortable stage but then it comes together somehow.
