Impressionist sun over the ocean in soft pastel~🎨🌅

This tiny painting is about 3x3 inches in size. The dried flower blossoms are fireweed, which blooms everywhere in Alaska during Summer and Autumn.

I love creating ethereal, atmospheric paintings. I’ve mostly been doing nature studies with soft pastel, though I hope to try portraits again with it soon (in my own style, of course), working up to combining the two. 💖 In my brain, I’ve already done it, and it’s beautiful. 😂 Now to bring it to life!

Caffèttazzo ghiacciato da un litro… corretto, forse non era l’ideale per il mio stomaco ulcerato, ma di sicuro mi ha dato una botta di vita 😂

non vedo l’ora di provare ad andare in piscina, non avrei mai pensato di voler fare esercizio fisico di mia spontanea volontà in vita mia, ma le mie vertebre 43enni ne hanno bisogno.

got the urge to make a wayne mcloughlin style portrait of frostpaw; i used pastel pencils and they turned out to be perfect for emulating that style! unfortunately the bg looks p different from the original- neither my phone or scanner could get the exact shade down, but the portrait itself looks accurate.
