Culinary specialties of Malta

Hello everyone!

I’m going to tell more about the culinary specialties of Malta. The menu includes mainly fish, meat, cheese, vegetables, rice and pasta. The dishes of the maltese cuisine are very similar to those from the Sicilian cuisine. Malta is located in the  Mediterranean sea, that’s why you can expect that there are much seafood dishes served. One of the most popular dishes in Malta is a pastizzi that is a kind of a sandwich with a filling of ricotta or, if you want something healthier, pounded peas.
