One row to go on this block. Slow progress is progress.
I didn’t get as many tiny stitches done as I hoped. I was distracted by the jigsaw puzzle. That thing just never ends.
Quilt progress 18 Nov 22. I had planned my Friday evening to include watching the cricket on the tele and to do some stitching while I watched. The cricket was rained off so lots more stitching got done. One row to go on the first diamond. I guess they will have another go at the cricket tomorrow. Right now though I'm off to bed, I need sleep. Night all.
I have several long term projects on the go at the moment. I am stitching hexies for the big blue star quilt. The last point of the star is taking a little longer than I had hoped. My fingers or more accurately my thumb is objecting to all the stitching. Actually it is the holding of the hexies being stitched that is the problem. We are also still plugging away at our 6000 piece jigsaw puzzle. We made the mistake of leaving the sky until last. We are finding it quite testing to say the least. We have reached the point where we will try every piece to see if it will fit in a hole. Trouble is the ink is wearing off the surrounding pieces. We are determined though, our sky will be finished but it will have extra clouds. I have also been busy sorting and cutting up my quilting scraps. That job is going to take a long time to complete. No matter, the fabrics look pretty sitting around my sewing room in baskets even if they are a bit of a tripping hazard.
