Lol yes! It was back in 2014 at a con in Philadelphia. Here's the very long version of the story that I wrote down to tell on the podcast a while back:

It's like 80 degrees out, and the convention center is packed, so it's even hotter in there.

I'm cosplaying the Winter Soldier, so I'm basically covered head to toe. I've got long pants and boots on, and this pleather jacket that I physically could not take off - I couldn't pull on the straps bc they would stretch out, so I had to use a flathead screwdriver to pop each snap open, and I couldn't bring the screwdriver into the convention center bc security.

As the day goes on, I'm getting hotter and hotter and I probably haven't eaten anything either bc there's only overpriced concessions.

I had my first photo op with Sebastian, and that went great. He was v sweet and excited to see my costume (he said "thanks for dressing up! 😭)

I remember standing in line for the second photo and being so hot and sweaty and miserable. I was fanning myself with something... they might have actually given out fans at one of the booths, just like the crappy thin cardboard ones they have at events. I had even partially unzipped the jacket underneath the straps (you can see it in the photo if you look)

So I finally get up there for my photo, still overheating and now somewhat lightheaded. For some reason, I thought turning to step between them backwards was the move.

I stepped RIGHT ON Anthony Mackie's foot, lost my balance, and started to fall. Sebastian grabbed me around the waist and like hoisted me back to my feet - some IRL superhero reflex shit.

Of course in the moment, I'm mortified and I start like frantically apologizing to Mackie, and he just goes "it's okay; we're dating" smooth as can be 😂

I don't remember if anything else happened bc I was probably in shock, but I think we just took the pic and I went on my way

So yeah, that happened!

Ahhhhh happy birthday!!! I've been passed out 4 hrs consecutively since my alarm went off hence the lack of graphics 😦 BUT HAPPY QUARETINE BIRTHDAY!!!

Bran/Meera - Sweet, like tooth-ache sweet but with the rejection in the show and Bran’s depression there’s that bitterness which has lead to hundreds of “Bran apologizes” fics which I am so here for even if I wrote half of them. I’ve got no qualms about the age difference because in general people don’t see much of a problem with women being significantly younger than men they’re involved with.  In fact even if I wasn’t all-in for Bran/Meera that argument alone would make me ship it harder out of spite.

Arya/Gendry - Young love! We can go on and on about all the perfections here so let me just say that they are perfect for each other in every way. A match made in the heavens. A romance for the ages. There’s gonna be songs sung about them and their epic love and they’ll both be so annoyed.

Sansa/Brienne - I multiship Sansa like crazy but this one is special. When I think about similarities between myself and canon Sansa I’m struck by how obsessed she was with stories, specifically the romantic ones and fellas I was that way too. But I’m Not Straight? Like I would have obsessive, performative crushes (starting in like 6th grade when apparently most kids start having crushes in like kindergarten so that right there is a clue) that were a lot more about a desire for attention and having a stable future which when thinking about Sansa’s dreams they’re not /sexual/ so far as I can see. She likes the kissing parts but for the most part her dreams are about the whole deal; having control and stability and admiration and affection. And Brienne could be so struck by how Ideal Sansa is except instead of being jealous she’s hit over the head with attraction. So basically Sansa’s a lesbian and Brienne is the True Knight she’s been looking for.

Ned/Cat - our shining example of steady, long-term, developed love. The ideal arranged marriage. The parents who are still head over heels for each other after decades of marriage. I wish they’d had more time.

Robb/Dany - The DEFINITION of a power couple. They would have been incredible together. The mutual attraction would’ve been off the charts. Their first conversation would’ve been a snark-off by their second conversation they’d be making out.

Dany/”Yara” - fierce warrior queens. Yara would never be intimidated by Dany instead like so many of us not-straights she’d only get turned on by Dany’s power moves. What man can watch a woman show her muscle and not feel emasculated? (yeah yeah Daario did but there were still things that were off about him)

Dany/Edmure - My shiny new toy! I've always been kinda on board for Jonerys but after that finale I need to wash the bitterness out of my mouth with crackships and this one... there’s so much potential. Dany always wanted a home and she deserves a gentle love from a man who won’t abuse her or push her around or freaking murder her. They’d connect over their mutual dedication to protecting those who are weaker than them. I know Ed might feel /emasculated/ at some point, this isn’t perfect but I dunno after growing up with Cat he might appreciate tough women.

Jon Connington/Brynden Tully - Was just introduced to this recently. My goodness. Our tired, warrior, red-haired, gay uncles.

Argella/Orys - I really really need to find some content for them because that would’ve been one intense wedding night. And like the first twenty years of marriage. Such a power couple but also Orys was 1000% terrified of getting shanked every. night.

Alys/Sigorn - Another canon power couple. They’re going to take Karhold by storm and have a bunch of big, scary babies. Could probably take over the world.

Okay I’ll stop but when I think about it I have a lot of ships. Thanks for talking to me!

Do you have any go to recommendations for material (hold in your hand) resources? I was thinking of getting Ari Tuckman's Understand Your Brain, Get More Done workbook. I have his Adults With ADHD book which has helped me, but it's a bit word-heavy so it takes a lot for me to read a new chapter. Just wondering if you have any favs.

Sari Solden has a book called Journeys Through ADDulthood that is a combo book and workbook. It’s very good. We do have a reading list with lots of books on it, and that could be a good place to start.

1) MEERA! Meera my Meera. The actual love of my life.

2) The Blackfish

3) Ellaria Sand. She’s such a gentle soul and a voice of reason.

4) Barristan Selmy. Dude tries and he’s a Dany stan.

5) Edmure Tully. Very few characters actually give a crap about the smallfolk and Edmure is one of those few.
