can you romance the voice if you're going for a path of redemption? the voice seems an interesting villain but not sure if i want to commit evil deeds.. i'm also not sure yet also if the voice is evil or not... um. hope this isnt too spoilery to ask.

There are many plans in place with The Voice— the MC can romance them if you’re going down the Path of Redemption… it’ll just have a much different ending (and scenes) than on the Path of Corruption.

It's great you planned the villain route. I really hate redemption/atonement arcs. My Mc is ready to take revenge on their team/family/spouse for betraying them (in MC's eyes ofc). One thing made me worry though. You mentioned that MC would have to be delusional for this view, so would it be really black and white situation without shades of grey and any ambiguity/complexity? Would it lead to cartoonishly evil MC in that case?

Well…. Your MC would have to be fairly delusional in order to spin that and actually believe it.

Hey, I know I did x, y, and z to you all— which ruined my social standing, the foundations of my relationships with you, and set off a nuclear bomb in all of your worlds— but I don’t understand why you all didn’t stick with me. Even after I did all those horrible things, that you all were able to somewhat cover up in order for me to still be somewhat okay, but shame on you.

It just wouldn’t make sense in my mind for someone not to be delusional at that point. Obviously, the world isn’t black and white, and the situation as a whole is complex, but the MC isn’t the only victim in this.

Do we have to be corrupt to romance the voice?

You have to be on the path, yes, but that doesn’t necessarily mean you have to stay on the path.

If everything goes to plan anyway. Things may change when it comes to the real thing.

I have a question about the insane mc question, if mc is on the corruption path, could mc becoming progressively more unhinged as they get more corrupt?

That’s not something I’ve thought of— meaning planned out— but it’s definitely a possibility. One that I think The Voice would find beneficial to their plans.
