But curiosity plucks at his strings. Jaal still has so many questions, and not enough answers.

okay can i just say i already love your tiran??? so much??? the thought you're putting into him is amazing, and i love reading each and every one of your headcanon posts. you've got a firm grasp on his character, and just!! you're already expanding what we see of him in game into this lovable person with multiple layers?? who i luv?? a lot??? just!! keep doin what ur doin my guy, bc it's Amazing. smooches ur nose!!!

No but seriously, getting something like this after I’ve made...literally three posts of any substance on this blog is extremely uplifting - thank you so much. I kind of specifically picked him less for what the game explicitly states he is and more for the potential layers I could see underneath, the things that I’d get the privilege to dig into with almost entire freedom because he’s such a side character, with less canon development. I’m really glad you’re already liking what I’m making out of what the game gives us of him.

Me too, honestly. Military brat who’s feeling the pressure of his legacy but doesn’t know what he really wants from himself and his life, and finds himself in a position of authority and responsibility by accident. There’s so much potential in-game for him and Ryder to relate to one another, I’m really looking forward to seeing if they do anything with it.
