The Fortune Dragon! These friendly dragon are seekers of new experiences! They're also magically magnetic, as in anything magical is drawn to them like a magnet. These have the innate ability to suck up raw magic, using it to power healing or thier own magic (scramble your senses, summon shadow snakes, create escape rooms, etc). Thier breath weapon also doesn't hurt, it just clouds your mind! Just be careful, if they shake themself too hard all those coins and gems encrusting it turn into projectiles (take a few, the ability is called Share the Wealth after all). And they're usually covered considering they like to swim through thier horde like Scrooge McDuck. At least they're having fun with it!

The Mirage dragon is a vain dragon that loves deceiving others. They have scales that change to camouflage them, thier breath causes hallucinations, thier fins can dazzle you with a display of colors, and they are experts of taking advantage of the distractions they create. They're also masters of illusion magic, some of which they can use infinitely, and eventually turn invisible at will! A If they go further with thier magic they like spells to meddle with minds like hypnotize and enthrall and confusion. Also more utility spells like turning into vapor or making objects float and move around.

I wonder what an all goblin Lesbian orgy would be like?

fun fact, the old adage "goblins have two-dozen words for 'orgy' " is not quite correct. this spawns from onlookers observing goblins speak of several holidays in which orgies take place and misinterpreting the name to mean the orgy itself!

one of these is "Fae-Bloom", which is a bit like an early spring solstice festival. when fairies are "born" naked and fully formed from the bloom of flowers in the spring, goblins celebrate by doffing their winter furs and carrying about naked for the first time in the year.

to prepare, they hand-paint each other's bodies in a colorful resin that magically warms the skin, so that they can please the goddess that looks down on them from the mountain with their naked forms despite the still-chilly air.

public sex during Fae-Bloom is common and expected during the festivities, during which participants join in as they please, singing orgasmic songs in reverence to local spirits.

but the most interesting orgy occurs during during ceremonial wrestling (their word for it translates loosely to "queen of the horde") where the tribe's strongest fighter is paired against the tribe's weakest. when the weakest is pinned, another weak goblin joins the fight, then another! eventually the champion is overpowered by sheer numbers, and is fucked by up to a dozen or more of her opponents while pinned to the ground and unable to move.

the champion then gets tallymarks painted on her body indicating how many goblins it took to overpower her, and compares her tallies to the tribe's other strong warriors to see who could take the most!

outsiders from other species are typically welcome to participate in Fae-Bloom, provided they show up naked. we advise you do your research first so that you know what you're signing up for!

pathfinder 2 stuff

I was originally a little upset with the Player Core 2 remaster of the alchemist class because my character’s specific strategy relied HEAVILY on making most/all of my alchemical items during daily prep, but the remastered alchemist moved way far away from the stuff you make during daily prep and focuses SO much more on your on-the-fly stuff with your versatile vials and your Quick Alchemy, but after some very, VERY careful reading of the rules, I’ve come to the realization that you can, in fact, use a Quick Alchemy-sourced poison to dose a weapon and not necessarily attack with it in the same round, since the “stays potent until start of next turn” thing is just talking about how long you have to Activate it, not how long the effects actually last. Which means that I can keep my current strategy of poisoned bombs! (You just gotta multiclass barbarian and pick up the elemental rage that lets you do extra slashing damage on a hit, and then you take Raging Thrower so it works on your thrown weapons, and there you have it! Now any arbitrary bomb that does any kind of damage can still deliver an injury poison!)

overall, now that I’ve solved that particular little problem, I’m willing to say that I think the remaster is generally an upgrade for alchemists. I like the mechanic for regaining versatile vials during exploration, I like the fact that everyone gets to automatically shift alchemical DCs to their class DC, I like that the at-will stuff scales better than Perpetual Infusions did, and I like the fact that the toxicologist gets “fuck you, you’re immune to poison but you ain’t immune to MY poison” at level 1. (Also, multiclassing into alchemist is a thousand times more effective now, since although you get fewer infused items per day, they actually scale in power now, and I’ll take that quality-over-quantity change any day.)

When I first heard about the remaster, I was a bit skeptical because tbh it did seem like just a cash grab, but overall I’m willing to say that they’ve made enough meaningful changes to a lot of classes (especially in PC2) that I feel like it was worth the effort.

wonder if they’ll ever remaster the dark archive classes and the secrets of magic classes…
