Late, but have some art for Trans Day! These are the characters I have that are explicitly trans in-text. (Others in different AUs may be, but I don't generally make firm decisions about gender or sexuality. I did for all the pathfinder AU though, which is why there are so many there.)
Because I want to, descriptions of each character below the cut. Left to right, top to bottom:
Linked Nexus Time: Time: ftm trans. grew up on a planet that didn't really care about gender expression and just generally landed in an ambiguous he/him space.
Linked Nexus Wild: intersex, doesn't remember his childhood but does prefer a masculine presentation.
Pathfinder Chain Sky: afab intersex! Chose a masculine presentation partly because his culture is woman-led and he didn't feel up to the task of leading like that
Pathfinder Chain Four: amab nonbinary but goes with he/him pronouns partly because he jist doesn't care. Specific colors might be different genders but I didn't get into that.
Pathfinder Chain Twilight: ftm trans, actually a sentient wolf. Figured out shapeshifting into a half-elf partially for trans reasons.
Pathfinder Chain Wild: ftm, not physically transitioned at all
Pathfinder Chain Warriors: ftm trans, joined the military of his country partially to gain access to and earn money for a sex change potion, of which he's taken several as he settles into himself.
Percy Jackson AU Twilight: ftm trans, spent decades in the Hunters of Artemis before leaving peacefully.
Hero's Vessel Doll: genderfluid. Had to replace his pelvis with a porcelain recreation, chose something sexless. Masculine most days, feminine sometimes.
Hero's Vessel Alby: uh. Carved as a male statue, never saw himself as anything other than male, but he did get his clothes carved off at some point and had to pick what was going on, picked female.
Hero's Vessel Oak: ftm, similar to LN Time just in the "didn't grow up with gender, settled into mostly masculine eventually."
Bad End Links Aconite: very intentional ftm, enchanted a series of gems that acted as puberty blockers from a preteen age.
Bad End Links Acon's Zelda: mtf, Aconite gave her the same sort of enchantments a little while after making his own when she decided she wanted them.
From Pathfinder Chain, a Linked Universe AU! :) I mentioned a long time ago that I did something different with this AU that I've never actually expounded upon here before, but ta da! This what what I did. I actually made a couple tables and rolled dice to determine which genders and sexualities these versions of the characters have. This is notable because I don't often actually define these for my AUs or characters. It generally stays pretty ambiguous in most cases.
Description below cut!
The flags are color-picked from the characters, so they aren't always identifiable. The art is from my Pathfinder chain lineup found at the link above. While I did roll dice and fit the character stories to the results, I did aim for the same he/him pronouns for each character at least a majority of the time.
Four: nonbinary, asexual. He does not have individual identities for each color considering what they are in this AU, and while he leans masculine, he doesn't bother to correct people who assume differently.
Hyrule: asexual. I imagine fairies might have a somewhat strange perspective on sexuality. He isn't all that interested.
Legend: gay, he's actually in a committed relationship with the Wind Fish, who in this AU is a relatively minor deity. :P
Sky: intersex. Strix (his species) are actually vaguely matriarchal, and some women have very specific roles as lorekeepers. So he did purposely choose a male presentation.
Time: cishet. The dice decreed.
Twilight: trans, and gay. He was born a female wolf! He actually gained sentience from the light spirit equivalent, was adopted by Ordon Village, and pursued his transformation magic in an effort to transition.
Warriors: also trans, and queer in some undefined ways. He first joined the military to earn money for and access to sex change potions. He'll use them again every so often, but sticks with the male 80-90% of the time.
Wild: trans and also undefined queer. He has not physically transitioned and doesn't really care to.
Ancestry - elf. Pathfinder elves have irises so large they cover most of the sclera (they're aliens.)
Heritage - beastkin. Legend can turn into a bunny when he wants to.
Background - free spirit. He's a bit of a wanderer.
Class - thaumaturge. Charisma-based martial, in which he knows a lot of random things and can leverage that knowledge to find weaknesses. He also has a lot of random stuff.
Archetype - sleepwalker. He has a strange action to enter a daydream trance, and can later gain a lot of interesting abilities related to dreamscapes.
Ancestry - human. "But, Mina," you say, "he's blue! Or is it purple?"
Heritage - duskwalker. "Beloved," I reply, "by lore, he's supposed to be gray." In my defense, the two pieces of duskwalker art both show blue skin. Duskwalkers are rare people who died too soon and were able to return to finish their lives. They have a healthy hatred of undead and a strong appreciation for life.
Background - amnesiac. He can't remember his life before!
Class - dragon instinct barbarian. Barbarians are generally the strongest and toughest of martials, always in the thick of things with huge weapons and excellent actions. Wild in particular has a connection to the empyreal dragons, which means his weapons can inflict spirit damage.
Archetype - wandering chef. This is a bit like alchemist-lite, but only for food. Wild can make a few magic meals every day.
Other notes - Wild has several weapons with different abilities for different kinds of damage. He also has lifesense, so he'll be able to tell when there are people or ghosts nearby, but not exactly where they are. One of the most fun foods he can make is a pink sprite apple, which makes the one who eats it glow brightly. I imagine he's using that for pranks. :)
In pathfinder chain 1.0, wild was a human duskwalker dragon barbarian alchemist. So just the archetype changed!
Ancestry - strix. Strix are winged humanoids with talons and solid eyes, black or gold. They're known for living high in the mountains, seemed like a good choice for Sky!
Heritage - songbird strix. These kind of strix have better control over their voices, for singing or impersonating.
Background - chosen one. Prophecy plays a strong part in Sky's life, allowing him to reroll sometimes. And be forced to reroll.
Class - exemplar. This is a divine martial class that represents, essentially, demigods. Sky is good at fighting, and has some very fun martial and healing abilities.
