Anyone got anxiety from Lyrica?

I'm getting off a prescription for Lyrica (generic: pregabalin).

I'm dealing with anxiety, sleeplessness, and a ton of shit. Was just told I could go off it a week ago. Hit me like a ton of bricks, and I'm unable to get out much due to recovery from surgery. Cold and snow don't help.

Shame on me for being less vigilant about meds thrown at my symptoms. I should have known better. (It's hard to do when dealing with the pain of a knee replacement that's healing slower than normal.)

If anyone has actually been here with this med, can you share any input? I want to know if these symptoms wear off and how soon. I also want to know if my provider should have tapered me off the med.
