YOU ARE SO FREAKING BEAUTIFUL and personally I think you look like Scarlet Johansen ((and you know how perfect ScarJo is, bro)) - have a nice day !
OMFG LET ME LOVE YOU
1. you don’t have to be tagged to do it! but it’s fun to tag people anyways
2. Show your aesthetic and/or interests using only images on your device. YOU CANNOT SEARCH FOR AND DOWNLOAD IMAGES
I wasn’t actually tagged for this but it looked like fun and I was stuck at home all day so I did it anyway. The one on the left I took kind of seriously, but the one on the right features my love of presidents, the locker of gummy worm doom, kissing goats and pride flag cookies baked by taireable. This was super fun! Even if I don’t tag you please do it and then tag me so I can see!!
I tag: mintcarold, taireable, patriaclus, potterblue and jamess-wesley
Can I have a fortune, please? Thank you, have a good night ! :)
Present your best ideas, today, to an eager and welcoming audience.
patriaclus replied to your post “Oh no I stayed up to finish a book I really liked as a teenager but I...”
What book was it ? Was it Going Bovine? Cause I know that one definitely follows that weird pattern
Haha no, good guess though! I have read that one and I don’t remember a lot about it but I do remember it wasn’t afraid to break convention. (I couldn’t have loved it as a teenager though, since it wasn’t released until after I graduated from college o_O)
It was A Barrel of Laughs, a Vale of Tears, by Jules Feiffer. It’s a good one, despite my ambivalent blogging about it--it’s both funny and serious in places, like I said, and it has enough quirkiness (both from the story itself and from the author breaking the fourth wall) to satisfy teenage me who always wanted things to be weird and unconventional. But I’ve always felt that the narrative rhythm gets screwed up near the end, like the plot really ends a while back and the last five or six chapters are just drifting under leftover momentum--and that, plus the nostalgia of reading something that was important to me 10+ years ago, makes me feel weird and sad about the end. I should also say that it’s definitely a kids’ book, with pictures and big print; you could read it in a day if you tried.
Happy Tag!
I was tagged by taireable, so here goes nothing! (sorry it took so long)
15 things that make me happy (in no particular order)
•The Amis
•that moment when you lock eyes with your friend in a serious moment and suddenly you both have the giggles
•making people laugh
•when someone draws something for me, (it could literally be a giant penis drawn in the middle of my back and i'd love it)
•hugs
•dancing to songs that can't really be danced to (my version of dancing consists mainly of pelvic thrusts, so...)
•puns
•nicknames
•The Book of Life
•musicals
•in a musical when there is a duet or solo that transitions to a big ensemble number and everyone just bursts out of the wings and you suddenly realize that holy shit this is way bigger than me and that is awesome (especially if you were a part of it)
•blasting music when i'm home alone (or when i'm not)
•reaaallllyy dumb voices
•laughing so hard you can't breath, and then remembering that moment later and laughing again
•things that aren't funny at any other point except for when you're sleep deprived
pretty much anyone i would tag has already been tagged, but i'm still gonna tag them anyways
