Alex on his first Williams seat fit and Williams culture
"My first day at the team, I remember I actually did a seat fit, just getting ready, and a lady came round with a tray just offering tea, if anyone wanted tea. I remember in my head, that was just so different than what I was used to, very homely. And I think that's what sets Williams apart from other teams. It is a family-run business and it really does feel like that from the culture."
Patrick on Alex's first William's seat fit and Williams culture
"When I look at our Red Bull days, the trust I had in terms of everyone in that environment nailing what they needed to do... Go to Williams, the first time at the factory... he's getting a seat fit in the morning, and he's doing sim in the afternoon.... It's running late, it's already running late, it's already eating into his sim time, and he's in the car getting the seat fit and the guy running the seat fit goes, 'I just need to go and walk my dog, I'll be back in an hour.' And me and Alex had one of those moments where we were like, I'm pretty sure that's what he said but he can't have said that... And that set the tone for that season.... There was a bit of an acceptance of being last."
