Patrickus recalls that the first time she saw thisserial killer was in an interrogation room. "Isat across from Jeffrey. I was very nervous, but he turned outto be very different from what I expected. He was akind, cordial, withdrawn, and introverted person, but I expectedsomething different, since with everything they found in hisapartment, I thought he would be darker. Similarly,she said she felt excited when shewas contacted to make this documentary because she hadn'tlistened to these tapes for 30 years. "I was anxiousto go back in time and hear it all again, butI thought the project was wonderful and I felt it was avery good idea," she said.
