Hey all! This is a teeny bit late, but here’s something new! Since I hadn’t found a decent visual guide on snake morphs I took matters into my own hands and made one myself! Don’t ask me to do a ball python version though, that could take a looong time :P
This was my very first suction toy and it set me up to love these things for a lifetime.
The Romp Switch X is an amazing budget buy (only $34.99 usd at time of writing) that should be frankly illegal for the value you get. It comes in two colors: orange and purple. It's small enough to fit neatly in the palm of your hand, comfortable enough to use for long sessions, and a perfect toy for beginners looking to see what suction toys are all about.
Settings
This toy has six settings with a really good range of intensities; the lowest is perfect to get you in the mood, and the highest is mind-blowing. Sometimes with this toy, I never made it past setting three without coming, but for those days that you're struggling to get there, I assure you this toy has the power to send you over the edge. All of the settings are "spaced out" relatively well too; it's not like there's huge jumps between settings where setting 4 is pretty good and then setting 5 is way too strong. It's a nice, linear ramp up to the sixth setting. There are no patterns, which I would consider to be a plus. Overall, I give the settings five stars.
Design
The design is relatively simple with two buttons; one to increase the intensity, one to decrease. I vastly prefer this to one-button models that make you run through all the settings to get back to one you had before. The buttons are pretty easy to feel and use even when you're mid-session and distracted, and I never found myself hitting the wrong one. When it comes time to clean up, the silicone head does come off so you can get into every nook and cranny, which is really great design, in my opinion. So for ease of use, this gets five stars.
Noise
When it comes to vibration toys, one of my biggest concerns is noise. Not all of us live alone! I'm happy to report that the Romp Switch X is pretty quiet in this regard, though it's definitely noisier when it's not pressed to your skin. If you don't have it seated firmly, it makes a slurping noise (and not really a sexy one) but that's probably the loudest it gets. I've tested this on its highest setting, and under a blanket with the door closed you really can't tell the toy itself is on. But since this sucker is so good at what it does, you might have to be more worried about how loud you are while using it. For noise, five stars.
Orgasm Quality
As far as the quality of orgasms goes, this thing delivers. I'm not usually very loud during solo play, but oh my God this toy had me screaming more than once. Because the settings are so good and the toy itself is so easy to use, you can pretty much play yourself however you want, whether that's a slow, teasing ramp up or something hard and fast. The design also means that, with a proper selection, you can use a dildo at the same time you use the suction toy for an incredible blended orgasm. Try it doggy-style with a dildo. What else can I say. Five stars.
Durability
Durability is where the toy starts to fail a little. While I've had good experiences with other Romp toys since, I burned through two of these in about a year and a half (keep in mind that's almost-daily use though). Additionally, this toy takes AAA batteries instead of being rechargeable, which is kind of a pain, especially because the performance degrades noticeably as the batteries slowly get used up. They do provide the first set of batteries, which is a nice touch, but chargers are just much more convenient. Two stars on this front.
Overall, this toy gets four stars from me! It's a great value toy, perfect for beginners, and you can usually catch it on sale to get it even cheaper.
