I watched Smurfs back in 80′s and 90′s when I was a small girl (also listened their CDs!) but after that I, kind of, just forgot them. Today, from TV, came Smurf movie “Smurfs and the Lost Village”. And, MY GOD, I fell in love with these two INSTANTLY! I have never watch any Smurf movie either!
I mean I liked Smurfette, Hefty* (and Grouchy) instantly as a child too but now, as I’m closing my 40′s slowly but surely, they hit me hard again. I loved it in the movie how Hefty was often asking if she’s okay, putting himself between her and danger etc. Tough guy with big warm heart! <3 And a pretty woman with guts! :D I... I admit I’m such a slut for this kind of pairing :’D
I know her arms are too short and I forgot Hefty’s other arm... Well, this WAS my FIRST Smurf art EVER so... I forgive myself those mistakes, ahah! I might drop few arts about these two every now and then. Still trying to get myself back on drawing turtles, tho! I hope Rise movie gives me the boost - whenever and IF it will come in Finland’s Netflix... I keep my fingers crossed! *Hefty’s name in Finnish is Pattismurffi which literally means Lump Smurf... However he also has been called Voimakas a.k.a Strong (Smurf).
