Mspoodle’s PS Process

How I edit my sim photos for @pattycortes15

Run Clean & Clear: TopazClean from @kaleekalo‘s Clean & Clear Set. This is a really great set and if you are happy with the results then you can stop here. I’ve used this editing style for a long time without doing anything else to my pictures.

But if you want to amp it up then add a Curves and Levels adjustment. This will just depend on the picture. The Curves graph gets an adjustment in the shape of an S. And the Levels graph gets a nudge to adjust the light and darks. It’s all subjective and I do this different for every picture. Outdoor and indoor shots differ greatly so you just do this to your liking.

Next, I do a little Google Nik magic. I do 2 things with this in Analog Efex Pro 2. I made an action for the 1st part. So while the top layer is selected CTRL-SHIFT-ALT-E to make a layer with the previous adjustments and run my action I made. Don’t be scared. It’s going to look all crazy with colors. So we are going to lower the Opacity of the layer till you are happy with the results - again this will be different for every picture.

Then, I do a Star Bokeh edit in Google Nik - Analog Efex Pro 2 (Custom Preset).  Again, adjust the blur and move the blur selector to your liking. You can even add blur points if you want. 

And that’s pretty much it. Choose Save for web and post your picture. Let me know if you have any questions.
