Minni belongs to Paul's Babygirl
As you can hear, Paul said in an interview in 2017 that they had one pet, Prague Ratter, because his daughter wanted it, which means the doggy actually belongs to Lilli. Indeed, you won't find any pictures or other footage of Paul with Minni until 2022 tour despite the little pet being around for over 5 years, during which Rammstein have played many festival and stadium tours.
Perhaps Lilli gave her parents Minni in 2022 so it was easier for them to deal with the "empty nest" syndrome and Paul acting so affectionate towards the pet, sharing pictures and so on, speaks actually much more about his relationship with his daughter, not the doggy itself, especially considering that with his clear preference to keep private things private, he's not likely to share the actual pictures of his children. Showing everyone Lilli's beloved pet looks like a way of actually praising her.
(It does work like that, I got to love even my son's plushie bee.)
What I find somewhat bizarre is how Minni has gone viral, amongst Paulchard fans in particular. I guess it has something to do with that fan-made pink IG page and the photograph Jens Koch who is both an insane dog lover and proudly gay man for whom taking that marvelous picture of Paul and Richard kissing in Moscow was something truly important.
And yet, you know… Although some fans just can't do any better than seeing Paul as some accessories to Richard, even they should be capable of understanding the difference between home's family and stage's family. And how the little dog hardly belongs to the latter.
