Once the show is over will you still be active? Or fade into distance like the others??
Who knows what a year will bring but yeah, I plan to still be around and probably include more content from other shows but SPN is still my main fandom. And I can’t quit these two dorks.

12. Is there an unpopular arc that you like that the fandom doesn’t? Why?S7 - Dick and the Leviathans. Loved the idea of an all-consuming evil, and Dick as a character was relentless with zero redeeming qualities. Would have loved it more if they showed the Levis as more alien, some kind of hive mind working together. Also, the problem was the writers were making heaven and hell more corporate like at the same time, which diluted this idea of an organized enemy.
12(a) A popular arc that you don’t like (nice twist to this, ha)Demon Dean. I was dying to see an evil and chaotic Dean, but what we got was Slightly More Aggressive Frat Boy Dean. The show didn’t go there at all until the moment that Dean was chasing Sam around the Bunker (which was glorious). So much potential lost.
17. Instead of XYZ happening, I would have made ABC happen…This one is easy. Early S8 and the flashbacks for Sam. The writers show him feeling lost, driving around in the Impala and ending up with Amelia. They needed to set up Sam for some serious guilt during the Trials but what we saw of this time was so *soft* (good lord, that flashback filter still gives me the heebies). I would have written it with more of an edge - Sam having an actual mental breakdown, being hospitalized (again, like in S7) and then trying to change his life afterwards to deal with Dean’s absence. The writers didn’t give us enough answers or insights as to what Sam was going through.

If you still want to know positive things from being in If you still want to know about positive things from being in the spn fandom - I've been on 2 overseas trips with my best friend and my sister so I could go to cons. Made some great memories and have given them the travel bug, so have more adventures planned. All thanks to wanting to get a hug from Jared! Have a good day, you rock :)

Thank you!! Oh man, that is a tough question because the answer is it depends on the mood I’m in. There are so many fics I love - fluff, dark fics, AU or canon - then there’s the fics where the writing just kills me. Funny thing is I’ve re-read some fics recently that I thought were amazing when I first got into SPN that don’t really do it for me now.
If you want a few lists, I used to co-mod @womenofrecs where we did fun thematic Wincest and J2 fic recs, but I should put together some new thematic lists here once my two bangs are done.

Sure, why not participate, lol. Pretty much the only friend I have (even though it's now long distance) I met in the locker room on the first day of freshman year of hs because she was talking about Spn to her uninterested friends and I butted in and said 'hey, did you say Supernatural?' And we've been friends ever since. (It was major for me especially because I have severe social anxiety and would never have done anything like that ever but I loved the show and so it was a good starter.)
That sucks that she moved, but you guys are keeping in touch? I hope so. That you spoke up in the moment and made the connection over the show is amazing. I love his fandom for that!
I've met so many fabulous people in this fandom. Also, I am constantly amazed at how talented it is. It's not too often that you can find a fandom with a plethora of fic and art with diverse themes.
So true! We’re spoiled in the best possible way with all of the fanworks. All the heart and soul people put into them amazes me everyday.
