The ultimate version — if I’m even allowed to call it that. Previous versions are here.
I am, for reasons unknown, deeply and irreversibly invested in this universe. I have way too many thoughts, headcanons, and character analyses I want to talk about, but if I tried to explain everything, this would never see the light of day. So I’m posting it like this.
I know some people are probably sharpening stones already, but hey — come, sweet death!! 🤣
And as for the consanguineous relationships… please just squint and move on. This was absolutely not intentional; I just ended up cramming in every ship and piece of lore I love, and, well… here we are.
Lastly, if this made you even a little curious about classic (German) football rpf — welcome. We’re always happy to have you. 💖
At this point, I felt I really needed to organize Aleks’ ship lore and all the arguments.
So, for now, I’m shipping three pairs — Pavlobig, Pavischof, and Pavlomade (or Wolpav). And a few more that I’m not actively shipping yet, but definitely keeping an eye on?
Totally fine if you don’t read the whole post, but just remember this:
Dating Tom, marrying Jonas, and having an affair with Nick. That’s Aleks’ lineup.
Maybe I should start with Aleks’ character study — true Bavarian, "made in campus", "one of our own", a sleek-looking black cat who’s actually a purring ball of affection, and the Prince(ss) of Bayern.
He’s not the 'Since I love you this much you should love me back just as much' type. He just gives love freely, without expecting anything in return — simply meant to love and be loved. Very Thomas-like in that way.😔
Honestly, Aleks is overflowing with love even if you don’t look at it in terms of shipping. Then again… if you grew up watching Neuller, maybe becoming a romantic softie was inevitable 😅
With Jonas Urbig (Pavlobig)
Aleksandar Pavlovic is the heir to Thomas Müller. Jonas Urbig is the crown prince of Manuel Neuer. And?
They are definitely retracing the path that Neuer and Müller walked. Aleks is kinda legitimate heir to Bayern. So it’s no wonder that he would get a promising keeper from NRW as consort?
I will forever stand by the claim that neuller is literally the arranged-marriage-but-fell-in-love.
We know how their story went — we can only hope the history repeats itself.
With Tom Bischof (Pavischof)
'Smiling is part of the plan'? WHAT plan?
In my opinion, Tom totally had a crush on Aleks during CWC. (And pretty sure he started chasing hard.) Aleks was probably just taking care of the newcomer, but… at some point, they were definitely flirting.
No worrying about the future, no caring about how it looks. They’re just living this moment.
They fell in love. That’s it.
So seriously, what are they doing??
Boys, stop it in public and GET A ROOM
With Nick Woltemade (Pavlomade / Wolpav)
Sooooo, what happened at German NT training camp? 🤭
For me, it all started here. Yes, maybe translation was off, but 'Charm offensive in the team hotel'… Please tell me I'm not the only one losing rational thinking.
These two have dangerous-but-hot-vibe.
And the fact that they can only meet during the international break adds far more spice. Think about it — they each have someone at the club, but when their eyes meet at NT camp?
Spark. Fling. 🔥
Though I should admit that they also work perfectly as a cute long-distance couple just getting to know each other.
Also, the height difference is killing me (in a good way).
And — speaking as Beckenbauer/G.Müller, Breitner/Rummenigge, Matthäus/Klinsmann, Ballack/Klose, (and Schweinski) shipper — midfielder + striker combo has ALWAYS been the German NT’s iconic power couple dynamic. It’s tradition. I’m absolutely here for it.

They look good together in their own way. Would it be weird to say they got close while Jamal was out? (I still prefer wusiala, though.)
And as a little bonus — the fact that they share the same birthday.
Some might call that destiny.
With Josip Stanišić
Thomas personally entrusted them with the mission of leading Bayern.
Comrades walking the same path — that’s a beautiful thing, isn’t it?
