Not only does inmate trainer Dennis have a dog named after him but his dog has also broken the stereotypes he once had about pit bull type dogs. On top of that it turns out that Dennis (the dog) was stolen out of his owner's yard over a year ago, ended up at @friendsofuplandanimalshelter , which happens to be about 50 miles away from his original home. His family saw him in prison on social media and immediately contacted us with pictures that match up exactly to Dennis! So when Dennis gets out he will be reuinited with his family! #pawsitivechange #northkernstateprison #marleysmutts #prisondogs

@pawsitivechangeprogram ・・・ A group of very talented people who help run this brilliant program, one in particular I'd like to spotlight. @filofilms (Fiona Cole) has been coming to prison with us for well over a year and taken probably hundreds of hours of film. Her videos inspire us all and she obviously has great talent. What you don't get to see is how her personality helps lay the groundwork for these inspiring videos. Her candor, sense of humor and even her accent make working with her a blast. She makes us all better and is a critical component to the "vibe" we are able to create in prison.
