The Greater Philadelphia region including the entire Chester County was walloped by a stronger-than-expected winter storm on November 15th, 2018. Originally forecasted as a quick-mover, coating the region with an inch or two of snow before turning it over to sleet, then freezing rain, and then to all rain around nightfall. This system played some trickery up its sleeves, dumping instead as much as 7 inches in some spots, spreading it almost the whole day before switching over to freezing rain and then rain late into the night.
