(This is all written spontaniously so apologies if it's very poorly organized ha ha) Thinking about Murderbot's relationship with corporates/logos, as one does... I'm sure people have brought up the fact that Murderbot doesn't mind wearing ART/Perihelion's logo, but it's very interesting looking back at the development. When it first met ART, it seems like it must have intentionally ignored any reference to PUMNT and ART's official designation, which surely would have been available in both public info and logos on ART's exterior/crew uniform. (I also think many things about the fact that Perihelion never tried to correct Murderbot but I don't think I'd be saying anything the fandom hasn't thought a thousand times-) I also find it very interesting to learn that Murderbot was editing recording/transcripts to change the company's name into 'the company'. It was never something that really stood out to me beforehand, but a part of it almost reminds me of how it designates opponents (Hostiles, Targets, ect) if that makes sense...

look. I’d say I’m… desensitized to horror podcasts by now. I’ve listened to countless hours and no amount of screaming or horrifying fleshy sounds have really shaken me. Additionally, while I appreciate and enjoy emotional scenes, I rarely have big reactions to them.

So I feel like that says something about Malevolent that I nearly started sobbing over a blind man and his emotional-support eldritch god. Arthur Lester may play the piano but gosh surely he plays the violin or something as well, with the way that story tugs on my heartstrings

my system has been really quiet for the past few weeks (mentally doing well, we don't have a lot of communication internally) but as soon as our mood went south. protector there all the time. commenting on everything. always. and hugging me constantly

sometimes I am struck by the urge to talk about The Characters. but then I just make a variety of Noises and fail to come up with anything coherent so they just sit in my brain. then sometimes I rotate them and come up with the most insane crossovers ever. elaboration below the cut...

ok so. I was thinking about the eyepocalypse and the part with all of the cameras in the city(?) area and then I was like ha ha you know who else looks at people through cameras and then had to sit there for a few moments. AND THEN I was like hm. Secunit and Perihelion.... Eye-related stuff.... that reminds me... and then remembered there was more Malevolent content I needed to listen to so that was actually a really bad elaboration wasn't it. sorry the adhd is getting to me. but yeah another crossover idea I may do absolutely nothing with or I may become hyperfixated on, place your bets
