Lyra's heel turn might work out a lot better for Lyra because one of her biggest problems is probably her character because she was too much of a generic white meat babyface with no real personality and when she had those storylines with Becky Lynch and Tatum Paxley you could tell they really had to carry her from a character perspective. So maybe going heel will be better for her because she can absolutely go in the ring

There's also something that can call up Tatum Paxley with this.

There's a ready-made story lying in wait that can entertain both hardcore NXT fans and main roster fans if Tatum is brought in to deal with Lyra's turn. It's an inversion of their previous relationship that can introduce Tatum Paxley to a new audience as a babyface while still furthering Lyra as a heel. On top of that, we all know Bayley would do her damnedest to sell the storyline.
