‘What are you going to do to me?’
The silent communication and facial expressions between Ramil and Paytai is incredible. Ramil’s constant internal turmoil between being the catalyst to Paytai’s pain (via his father) and their sex life, combined with wanting to keep Paytai safe and happy is beautifully shown.
The Next Prince, Ep 8 (2025)
This is my safe place. I hate to see how people on Xtwitter hate Ramil and Paytai (JimmyOhm?) so much. ZNN fans act like kids who can’t stand that other characters also have screentime. Guess what, there are side characters in every story. It’s not their fault if they steal the show with their whole 5 minutes appearance. 🤷🏼♀️ Fans complain that RamilPaytai is toxic, not normal, fcked up, etc. Welcome to the real world, dears! Real relationships can be so complicated and imperfect. That’s how life goes.
I see that “fans” also attack producer @AoftionDMD Please, show some support to him and JimmyOhm on social media!
Thank you tumblr for being realistic and loving that flawed, yet amazing couple! 💜
that Ramil Paytai nc scene had everything they could give us. the blindfold, the switching, the flashbacks and gentleness in the end, RAMIL OFFERING HIS HANDS TO BE TIED UP. perfection
i think we don't talk enough abt paytai's painting and what it potentially reveals abt his mental state
the first moment i saw it it struck me how he mainly used dark colours but it's even more interesting when u take a closer look
a lot of the painting is taken up by the storm clouds just looming over the whole thing and like the symbolism of storms — unstable volatile unsafe unpredictable — is not hard to connect back to his own life and the situation he's in with ramil's father and even ramil himself
and then the ocean as well like the ocean is another element that's unpredictable but it has more of a duality to it — it can be beautiful and gentle but it can also be destructive and volatile as well — could very well represent ramil
and then there's the lone figure standing in front of it all
i wonder if it's too much of a leap to say that the figure represents paytai himself, the ocean represents ramil and the storm ramil's father — the ocean is affected by the storm and the person is affected by both the storm and the ocean which are both natural forces beyond his influence power and control and no matter what happens he'll be at the mercy of those forces
also the storm practically looms over both the figure and the ocean here which is very akin to how ramil's father looms over the both of them
now maybe it's just a random painting but the symbolism sure is there !!
Ava: What are you doing?
Ramil: You know, reading
Ava: So the fact that Paytai is modelling without a shirt has nothing to do with the page you've been reading for the past hour
Ramil: It’s a very interesting page
i haven't even gotten to that part of the next prince but let me say this, if ramil and paytai don't get their happy ending there will be blood
soft-looking pretty boy submissive types that wield much more power than first glance implies
