i love that patrice bergeron picked up a post-retirement side gig doing nesn broadcasts, because it's important to recognize that he is so ass at this job. he views this 'job' as 'sit on couch with razor and tuukka and talk. perhaps twice a period say something tangentially related to the game being played. most importantly, bring up brad marchand at LEAST twice a game, preferably upwards of ten'. he truly is the world's most perfect man.

I just think it would be beautiful if Brad and Patrice had reunion sex the night before Bergy’s number retirement game where Brad cries because it shouldn’t have been like this. He should be seeing Patrice like this more often, and skate up to him at the ceremony as the bruins captain, not a guest who’s just in town for his former teammate

being with berg is all he wants, he's just sad he can't accomplish what it should've been anymore. he's now a bystander stuck on the outer edges of the ceremony instead of being the captain of the team that's on the tender inside of it. to say the least, he's jealous. crying in berg's arms during and after isn't an option. rather, his body won't let him stop

also found a copy of NHL 15 for $5 at a “retro” game store nearby. i want to play the new NHL 25 for the PWHL teams but unfortunately my Xbox is just old enough that it won’t support it 🫠
