Indulge in the decadent combination of chocolate and peanut butter with this irresistible Chocolate Peanut Butter Pie Tart. A crunchy chocolate cookie crust filled with a creamy peanut butter filling, topped with a luscious chocolate drizzle.
Ingredients: 1 1/2 cups chocolate cookie crumbs. 6 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted. 1 cup creamy peanut butter. 8 ounces cream cheese, softened. 1 cup powdered sugar. 1 teaspoon vanilla extract. 1 1/2 cups heavy cream. 1 cup semisweet chocolate chips.
Instructions: Warm the oven up to 175F 350C. Melt the butter and mix it with the cookie crumbs in a bowl. Fill a 9-inch tart pan with the dough and press it into the bottom and up the sides. Set the oven to 10 minutes. Allow it to totally cool down. Mix peanut butter, cream cheese, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract in a large bowl until the mixture is smooth. Heavy cream should be whipped in a different bowl until stiff peaks form. Fold the whipped cream into the peanut butter mixture slowly until it is well mixed. Spread the peanut butter mixture into the tart crust that has been allowed to cool. To make the chocolate smooth, melt the chips in a bowl that can go in the microwave for 30 seconds at a time, stirring in between each time. Spread melted chocolate over the tart's top. Put it in the fridge for at least two hours before you serve it. Cut it up and serve it cold. Have fun!
