For my PC nerds out there, is this a good build? Or should things be changed?

Anyone here know anything about pcs?
I just got one and want some advice for upgrading it. I posted to reddit but I mainly got death threats sooo :///
I wonder how viable it is to simply replace my computer with that new Steam Cube
I mean I knew my next pc was gonna be a Linux machine anyway, since I don't wanna be on speaking terms with Microsoft
Soooo my new (just got it in November) laptop has a weird smell at the bottom and now I'm afraid cause every search says something about fires and shit and I don't want to tell my family about it so help-
i don't suppose anyone around here is versed in pcs lol? i'm planning to buy one in late august or september. i have been learning a lot but i still feel pretty lost. i've been reading enough to know that prebuilts are often overpriced and not as good. so i am considering using a pc assembler where i can customize it and have someone else build it for me. there's a lot of takes on the various services that make me nervous, so i'm not sure who to go through. there is a micro center about an hour and a half from me, so i've been considering that but i'm not big on driving that distance either.
i know there is a general sentiment that you should just build your own pc, but that honestly terrifies me and there's a lot of people in my life who have talked me out of that. figuring it out on my own seems terrifying.
below is a kind of general idea of what i'm looking for:
just in case anyone needs it:
Settings > System > For developers > End Task (On)
sadly only for Windows 11
Help me out gang what do I call the kind of services I'm looking to hire here because I'm accepting every time I sit down to try to fix this I just get angry and pissed off and pissy at my partner too and then sit and ignore it for a month and repeat.
I need someone to come either in person or to take control of my computer remotely and help me set up this fucking program because it requires a level of basic coding that despite a decade in the industry my brain refuses to fucking process and reading the documentation 50x has not helped and the few times I've gotten it half working it's updated to a new version that meant it needed the entire process to start all over again and I wanted to scream and I have had like FIVE autistic meltdowns over this but it's the best program existing for what it is and so of course it's entirely an open source project on github that uses Docker and has no automated installers.
So I don't need IT help in the sense that something is broken, but I can't get this shit to work and I am far too ashamed to ask the fucking discord for help with this for the fourth time where do I find the better version of the Geek Squad for tired millennials who know how to torrent and basic HTML but are hitting a fucking wall here.
I'm surprised at the amount of people who reblog tutorials on how to forcibly turn stuff off on their computer without knowing what said thing does. Like the Tumblr post going around now is probably fine, it's just a Windows search function, but you guys need to NEED TO fucking check if they're basically telling you delete system 32 to make your computer go faster because PEOPLE USED TO DO THAT. A LOT. IT STOPPED AFTER PEOPLE STOPPED FALLING FOR IT. BUT GODS DAMNED IF IT DOESN'T LOOK LIKE PEOPLE WOULD DO IT NOW IF THERE WAS A TUMBLR POST SAYING SO.
